Probably Raymond's physicality will throw him off. I don't think you can be prepared for that until you face it, so he might look hesitant. The best thing for him though is that he probably scrimmages against Kawhi... that aspect of his development behind closed doors is actually very underrated. If you can protect the ball against Kawhi in practice, even if he gets the best of you sometimes, damn... I guess I have to say you can handle the basketball after all. Pop has got to have seen some of that in practice, otherwise he would not trust Anderson to handle it in live games. And he's also crafty, he will post up when he has an advantage but against big men he has not chance against he will just dribble to get space and swish a jumpshot you can't block (or you will foul him trying to block it). If he was determined I think he could get his, but overall Pop will not want him forcing stuff, and he's a nice passer, so it could be a quiet game for him, but shots for others. On defense, as always, he's a work in progress, but I liked what I saw defending the PnR against the suns, he has good hands and will knock balls loose, he anticipates the pass very well, and he can handle a switch if necessary.

I remember a special I watched last season (you can find it on youtube if you are intersted), after the championship in 2014, when the Big 3 and Pop talk about Manu when they got him, and how he would scrimmage against Bowen, and Bowen would go at him really hard, beat him up, try to slow him down, get physical. Manu admitted it frustrated him, angered him, but he understood it was for his benefit and it made him better.

Anderson more than anything needs experience.
