football cards

After talking it over with Mouse, I think I am interested in starting some sports cards - mainly football. I'm into the autograph/jersey cards and cards that I just think are cool (ie Don Mattingly RC - always wanted it never got it).

I used to be an avid baseball and basketball collector until I lost interest because of prices and too many cards. Over the past year, I have been picking up a couple packs of football cards here and there and now I just signed up for ebay and have 7 bids out on various Lamont Jordan cards.

Mouse is going to help set me up with collecting sports cards in '05, but I wanted to ask if anybody else collects cards, if anybody is interested in selling/trading, and who in fact does the grading for cards?

I got into collecting baseball cards at precisely the wrong time in the hobby (1986). Should've loaded up on basketball though.

I have a shit load of cards its unbelieveable. I have so many baseball rookie cards. Such as Randy Johnson, Cal Ripken Jr, Ken Griffey Jr, George Brett, those just come to mind, i'd have to look over what I have.
