No question...

No, missing one of the 5 greatest defensive big men ever "broke" our defense. We just don't have anyone that can replicate Timmy's impact on defense.

No. This team just quit giving a shit about it. This is on Poop. This defensive collapse isn't even Top 5 on his list of collapses.

Since the start of 2016, they've given up:
Rockets - 103
Bucks - 98
Jazz - 98
Knicks - 99
Pistons - 99
Cavs - 95
Lakers - 95
Warriors - 120
Rockets - 99
Cavs - 66pts at halftime

If we keep getting blown out with Duncan, then it can be discussed, but Timmy still has one of the best defensive metrics on the team...

Tim Duncan's knee broke the Spurs' defense, tbh.

Hey idiot, this is a fast paced league and the early season efficiency wasn't going to last. Timmy is the only defensive minded big man on the entire team. Plus, he's the only one 7 feet or taller that can actual protect the rim.

Yes, then post Timmy Spurs are going to have their challenges

Warriors made it last for a whole season last year, faggot.

Open your eyes and watch the games.

If Duncan is revealed to have a micro-tear or microfracture and needs to be shut down until say, July, how does that affect the Spurs' chances?

He's only 39 years old, jackass. And he's still one of the best defensive anchors even at such an advanced age.

Pretty sure the Spurs were a top 5 defense too last year, faggot. The point is without Duncan they have no size and rim protection. I know you are a moronic "krew" troll, so I'll just stop now.

Kawhi has been poor on defense (for him) for awhile. If Kawhi isn't dominating on defense, and Duncan isn't there at the rim, everything collapses into rubble.

:lol no, but the Spurs have terrible defensive bigs outside of Duncan, and obviously the PGs are poor defenders, too..

I commented it on the other thread, once Tim and Manu hang them up, we're done with championships for a while...

No debbie downer, or knee jerk over this Cavs game, I wrote that way before then when we were winning, tbh... wish I'm wrong...

Did you need read the numbers I provided, queer? Spurs aren't holding anyone under 80 anymore, those days are gone thanks to Poopovich mishandling it. What kind of message do you send out when your coach has no choice but to Hack-a-scrub and run a Zone like tonight?

No Tim, no rings for Poop. Face it.

Tim Duncans's bad knee broke the Spurs defense.
