Not surprising, won't need him against Orlando.

More time for everyone else to get it together.

I wonder if the plan is to hold him out through the All-Star break? Or through the Rodeo Road Trip (don't need all those away games when you could be home in rehab/therapy).
Or it could be day-to-day. Who knows with the Spurs.

They only have 1 top-tier opponent in February, and it's the Clippers without Blake..I wouldn't play Tim again until March IMO..
There are some tough games in the mix(@Miami, @ Utah, @ Houston), but the Spurs will be favored in those, even without Duncan..

Yea I don't know I read somewhere its nothing too serious (I take that to mean nothing permanent/season ending), but that Pop is absolutely not going to risk Tim and it is going to take however long it takes for the knee to really heal.
I don't want to create a thread for the game, leaving that for BatManu20 (http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/member.php?u=33095) but in today's game, the Orlando Magic beat the Celtics, a tough team we were only just happy not to have to face again in the season, and Fournier went for 24 and Aaron Gordon for 22. Fournier is a wing/SG and Gordon a very athletic combo forward. He's a terrific passer.
Again, with Timmy out the bigs situation continues to be a concern. This is a young athletic team the likes of which can give Spurs fits. I expect time for Anderson to continue to grow, but it is a concern. They are also launching a lot of 3s, so I would not think this game is cake.

If you were to bet SaGirl ... U think the spurs can cover the spread of magic +16 ?

I haven't watched them all season, and don't consider up and coming young athletic teams a piece of cake since Timmy is out. Our defense has completely fallen apart and the only brightside to me from the past few games is the development of Simmons/Anderson so I hope they play... some minutes for Boban too, bc he needs to develop, but I don't consider it an easy game specially if they rain 3s.

I hope they shut him down until after the ASG. Then let him play (if he is healthy of corse), but strictly no b2b's. Shut him down again after the PO-seeding is fixed and maybe play him the last (two) game(s) to get him into rythm again.

When will you understand there is no plan .... he is fucking hurt. If the knee does not hurt anymore, he will play ...

Spurs after loss are 8-0 SU, 8-0 ATS. I think market has adapt, and Magic with points are the play

Magic are like 1-13 in the past 14 games with the only win coming vs Brooklyn. Leastern conference is crashing back down. How long until Aldridge starts pouting over having to play Center tbh

LMA isn't pouting because he knows Pop is experimenting with a small ball lineup.
I expect Tim to be out until after the allstar break. He will play on the rodeo road trip. No B2B.
