At 40-8, what do you think the Spurs final season record will be? What do we need to win to secure the 2 seed and the 3 seed? We have 34 more games to play.
Thunder are at 37-13 with 32 games left. At their present percentage, they can be 60-22 or 61-21. Spurs go 22-12 finish 62-20.
Clippers are 32-16 with 34 games left. To get to 60 wins, they need 28-6 for the rest of the season.
Spurs are sitting good for 3rd seed at the very worst.
Memphis already has 20 losses. Dallas has 23. Houston and Utah 25. None eliminated from the top 2 seeds but would have to win out and hope someone lose a lot of games for them to move up. Only Memphis has a reasonable shot to catch the Clippers but a slim to none chance to climb any higher. The rest of the West just fighting for the 6 thru 8 spots. :toast
