They stopped hand checking in 1995, but for some reason, Draymond Green is allowed to use both of his hands on post ups. You're supposed to only be able to use a forearm. When Danny Green bitchass is hitting his shots and Aldridge gets Draymond green in a 1 on 1 matchup and the refs are calling foul, there is nothing he can do. Green was getting cooked tonight by Nene in the paint. You can't convince me Nene is a better on offense than Alridghe. Shit, just look at what Alridge did to Green last season. Most of u clowns here are live in the moment assholes.

The Spurs starting lineup has not had a dominant game it feels like in a while. Normally 3 starters score most of the 'starter" points then the bench does their thing. But Kawhi/LMA did their damn thing tonight and it's good to see this SL have a dominant game.

Exactly. Remember the old adage that it isn't until the second year players can really succeed in the Spurs' system? Well, LMA (and David West) have handled it pretty well. TBH, LMA made some plays tonight that fired up the team and fired up the crowd. Personally, I have NEVER witnessed that out of him before - in a Spurs uniform. I hope it is his real coming-out party, but we have to get him in the spots where he CAN deliver those plays. You are absolutely right about Pop's not having done that heretofore.

I don't think its highly unpopular, at least not to me, I actually like to consider different options. I still think Pop starts Tim for defensive reasons, but has to limit his time with LMA together at times. GSW death squad is also used situationally. Less minutes for Timmy is also good for his knee.

I think Pop wasn't using LMA very well TBH.. kind of similar to how our Anderson started looking more like himself when Pop called upon him to produce. I don't think Pop had really laid it out to LMA to be the man. He was playing like a roleplayer.

I hope he has the mentality that he needs to bring this fire on a nightly basis. With Kawhi and him playing like that, and the solid and deep roster we have... truly I am believing in this team, so long as Timmy is healthy and back.

Edit: or maybe Pop and teammates had laid it out to LMA, but he didn't feel the urgency until recently. For sure we were not winning these games, even the one against the Magic if LMA didn't bring it.

I missed most of it... really the parts where Anderson played. I watched the first Q and then the end to the 4th. He wasn't in during that time. I did witness LMA and Kawhi beasting though and just other things, but missed the Anderson part (was at the gym)

I missed the first. But, in his limited time, he got at least one deflection, nice little jump hook that was half way down and popped out. Looked money. Nice pass on a move to the basket to Aldridge for an easy bucket. Rebounding, and played at least passable defense. Had a block turned foul. Played within himself, cool. Didn't make mistakes.
