Meanwhile, the Celtics have engaged the Houston Rockets in talks about a possible deal for Dwight Howard, the Daily News has learned. Howard can opt out of his contract this summer, and considering his back and knee issues, it doesn’t make much sense for Boston GM Danny Ainge to use the assets on a player with declining skills and a battered body.

Boston is team out East that can go from 1st round fodder to ECF finals with this type of move..If Ainge can get Dwight, even as rental, without sacrificing Avrey Bradley, Jae Crowder or the Nets pick that would an amazing deal for them..

He needs to go to the Heat, Suns, Cavs and then Celtics. He's trying to be like Shaq.

At first blush he's a "turn-on." One thinks they're gonna get all of this---and so much more, boundless reward, but, in the cruel reality you get nothing but bitter disappointment that your mind still cannot reconcile.

He didn't tear an entire franchise down like Kobe.

Dwight has actually been on his best behavior during his time with the Rockets. His best series was against Portland, the one of many where Harden didn't show up.

No you wouldn't. You've won 58 games in 3 years. You would beg to suck his cock just like you did the first time.

And yet, you still begged. Shameful!

Come to think of it, the last time I remember the Spurs fanbase begging for a player was Manu. Before that Duncan. They both stayed and won.

Howard is still an elite (top 10-15) player and the best center in the league. Rockets would be stupid to trade him unless they get a king's ransom in return.
