Law enforcement can't use evidence obtained illegally, some judges have ruled.
Anyway, how does "Hillary is corrupt" disqualify her from WH? ALL politicians are corrupt.
"quid pro quo"
"scratch my butt, I'll scratch yours"
Entire political class is corrupted, until proven innocent.
Rightwingnutjob activist SCOTUS is also corrupt, nothing but tools of VRWC/BigCorp, eg: Citizens-United, "money is speech", class actions against BigCorp crippled, etc, etc.
America (of the 99%) is fucked into decline and unfuckable, and You People have absolutely no suggestions how to unfuck it.
Just started reading Clinton Cash yesterday, those two take corruption to a whole other level.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/lynch-taking-step-back-clinton-000000134.html
Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Friday that she will take a step back from the decision whether to charge anyone in the Hillary Clinton private email server probe but is not fully recusing herself from the case.
Lynch told Washington Post journalist Jonathan Capehart in an interview at the Aspen Ideas Festival that she will accept whatever recommendations the FBI and career prosecutors make. (Career prosecutors are Justice Department lawyers who were not appointed by the president.)
“I will be briefed on it and I will be accepting their recommendations,” Lynch said. She added that the team of FBI investigators and career prosecutors on the case has been working “independently” since before she took office last year.
The announcement comes after Republicans and some Democrats criticized Lynch for a half-hour meeting on Monday with former President Bill Clinton. Those critics said the meeting suggested a conflict of interest.
“What on earth were you thinking?” Capehart asked Lynch of her meeting with the former president.
Lynch said the meeting at the Phoenix airport was primarily social and that the email inquiry was not discussed. She said they talked about Clinton’s grandchildren. “I certainly wouldn’t do it again, because I think it has cast a shadow over what it should not, over what it will not touch,” Lynch said, adding that the questions over the Justice Department’s integrity have been “painful.”
The FBI is investigating whether Hillary Clinton or others mishandled classified information by using a private email server for official business while she was secretary of state. Investigators have not interviewed Clinton in the probe.
Some Republicans have called on Lynch to completely recuse herself from the inquiry and appoint a special prosecutor to handle it, arguing that a Democratic appointee cannot fairly head an investigation that potentially has a big influence on the presidential election.
This step falls short of that. “A recusal would mean I wouldn’t even be briefed on what the findings were,” Lynch said. “While I don’t have a role in those findings or coming up with those findings … I will be briefed on it and I will be accepting their recommendations.”
The step does mean, however, that Lynch is promising she would not change the outcome of the investigation or attempt to downgrade the recommendations, which attorneys general have done in the past. (Former Attorney General Eric Holder, for example, downgraded the recommended charge for Gen. David Petraeus’ mishandling of classified information to a misdemeanor.)
Lynch said she has long planned to defer to the recommendations of the FBI and career prosecutors but decided she should take the unusual step of announcing the decision to clear up doubts over a conflict of interest.
A Justice Department official declined to comment on whether other political appointees, such as Assistant Attorney General John Carlin, would also take a step back from the case.

The myth of the Democratic rift: Despite media hot air, the data show Sanders supporters will embrace Clinton
Hot takes might suggest otherwise, but the truth is, the Democratic Party is quite unified
more data-driven approaches often fail to support these narratives. Data don’t show widespread misogynistic attitudes among Bernie Sanders supporters, nor do they suggest widespread racial resentment or stereotyping. Moreover, I find that there are strong reasons to believe Sanders supporters will ultimately reject Trump, and most will end up supporting Clinton.
Democrats Are More United Now Than in 2008
By historical standards, the primary was not extraordinarily bitter. Sanders refused to go after Clinton on potential scandals (such the e-mail scandal, which he publicly denounced) and rather ran a campaign to push the Democratic party to the left on issues with broad popular support. (http://www.vox.com/2016/7/12/12150470/bernie-sanders-endorse-clinton#annotations:10087340)
Indeed, Sander’s endorsement signals a level of party unity that has occasionally evaded Democrats. In 1992, Jerry Brown called Bill Clinton the “prince of sleaze” (http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-clinton-brown-endorsement-20160531-snap-story.html) and refused to endorse Clinton, even after clearly losing the primary. In 1972 the party was openly divided about McGovern, and he ended up being crushed. Though it has quickly slipped into the memory hole, the 2008 primary was quite vicious (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2008/feb/25/barackobama.hillaryclinton), and many Hillary supporters refused to support Obama in the general.
Indeed, the relatively low levels of support among Bernie supporters for Trump signal far more party unity among Democrats than existed in the past.
Using the Cooperative Congressional Election Study 2008, I find that 24 percent of those who reported voting for Hillary in the Democratic primary supported McCain in the general (74 percent supported Obama).
According to polls from Washington Post-ABC News (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/06/26/donald-trumps-bad-month-just-got-worse-because-bernie-backers-just-rallied-to-clinton/?postshare=7181466947880649&tid=ss_tw), in May, 20% of those who backed Bernie in the primary would support Trump in the general. By June, that number had fallen to only 8%.
For comparison, in June of 2008, 20% of those who supported Clinton in the primary said they preferred McCain over Obama in the general.

‘Someday a woman will be president’ T-shirts banned by Walmart in 1995 for offending ‘family values’

In August 1995, a Wal-Mart store in Florida sold T-shirts showing Margaret, a character in the comic strip “Dennis the Menace,” proclaiming that “Someday a woman will be president.”
A customer spotted the T-shirts and complained, reported The Associated Press (http://www.spokesman.com/stories/1995/sep/23/wal-mart-says-shirt-against-family-values-t-shirt/), and the store removed them.
“It was determined the T-shirt was offensive to some people and so the decision was made to pull it from the sales floor,” said Jane Bockholt, a spokeswoman for the company at the time.

Either Comey is lying or Hillary is lying. Who is lying?
During an extended exchange with Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), Comey affirmed that the FBI's investigation found information marked classified on her server even after Clinton had said that she had neither sent nor received any items marked classified.
"That is not true," Comey said. "There were a small number of portion markings on, I think, three of the documents."
Asked whether Clinton's testimony that she did not email "any classified material to anyone on my email" and "there is no classified material" was true, Comey responded, "No, there was classified material emailed."
"Secretary Clinton said she used one device. Was that true?" Gowdy asked, to which Comey answered, "She used multiple devices during the four years of her term as secretary of state."
Gowdy then asked whether it was true that Clinton, as she said, returned all work-related emails to the State Department.
"No, we found work-related emails, thousands that were not returned," Comey said.
"Secretary Clinton said neither she or anyone else deleted work-related emails from her personal account. Was that true?" Gowdy asked.
"That's a harder one to answer," Comey responded. "We found traces of work-related emails in, on devices or in slack space. Whether they were deleted or whether when a server changed out something happened to them, there is no doubt that the work-related emails that were removed electronically from the email system."
Gowdy asked whether Clintons' lawyers read every one of her emails as she had said. Comey replied, "No."

Trash fellators (if y'all can find it) lied to again. Judicial Watch is just another cog in the VRWC propaganda machine.
Media Continue To Fall For Clinton Foundation Pseudo-Scandals Promoted By Judicial Watch
But the emails show that the meeting was proposed and arranged through “normal” and “official channels,” not through “special access” as Judicial Watch characterized it.
Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain “asked to see [Clinton] thurs and fri thru normal channels,” according to the emails, and Clinton didn’t “want to commit to anything” until she confirmed her schedule and how she was feeling.
Later that week, Abedin confirmed that Clinton and her staff “reached out [to Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain] thru official channels” to set up the meeting.
According to a write-up from Agence France-Presse, obtained via Nexis search, the meeting was about the “tense post-election climate in Iran and the Middle East peace process” -- exactly the sorts of topics one would expect the secretary of state to discuss with a Middle Eastern leader.
Given that past secretaries of state and US presidents have met with Crown Prince Salman -- includingCondoleezza Rice (http://bna.bh/portal/en/news/392661), Colin Powell (http://www.gettyimages.com/event/secretary-powell-meets-with-bahrain-crown-prince-salman-2947226#bahrain-crown-prince-salman-bin-hamad-al-khalifa-speaks-as-us-of-picture-id2953333), and President George W. Bush (http://www.upi.com/News_Photos/view/upi/482e9663899d1cb18cead7d49c94f83c/Crown-Prince-of-Bahrain-meets-with-Bush/) -- it’s not unusual that the crown prince sought a meeting with Clinton during her tenure as secretary of state, and there is no evidence he got the meeting due to his affiliation with the Clinton Foundation.
But that hasn't prevented the press from trying to turn the meeting into a scandal.
Media outlets immediately ran with the story, suggesting that “the new revelations,” as Politico put it (http://www.politico.com/story/2016/08/clinton-foundation-huma-abedin-doug-band-227275), “add to the controversy that has swirled around the Clinton Foundation, with Donald Trump and other critics accusing Hillary Clinton of using her position at the State Department to reward major donors through access to other power players.”
The Wall Street Journal scandalized the emails, saying (http://www.wsj.com/articles/new-emails-show-clinton-foundation-sought-access-to-state-department-on-donors-behalf-1471891203) they “could fuel criticism :lol that the Clinton family’s charitable foundation, in fundraising with wealthy donors, corporations and foreign nations, created a conflict of interest for Mrs. Clinton during her work as the nation’s top diplomat.”
A Fox News article wrote (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/08/22/emails-reveal-clinton-aide-gave-foundation-donors-special-access-group-says.html) that “Such emails have fueled accusations from Republicans of a ‘pay-to-play’ operation.” :lol
CNN’s John Berman said (http://mediamatters.org/embed/clips/2016/08/22/48809/cnn-lead-20160822-clintonfoundation), "It doesn't literally have to be provable pay to play to have an appearance problem." :lol
These accounts adopt Judicial Watch’s frame (http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/press-releases/new-abedin-emails-reveal-hillary-clinton-state-department-gave-special-access-top-clinton-foundation-donors/) that the meeting between Bahrain’s crown prince and Clinton was granted only because of “special, expedited access” and “preferential treatment” because of his relationship with the Clinton Foundation, and that at the least, the emails and meeting reflect bad optics.
Judicial Watch is a right-wing organization (http://mediamatters.org/blog/2015/10/02/meet-judicial-watch-a-driving-force-behind-the/205941) with a history of duping the press (http://mediamatters.org/blog/2016/08/10/running-judicial-watch-s-storyline-media-manufacture-another-false-clinton-email-scandal/212311) on Clinton email stories.

They aren't very clear on the timing of when these additional 14,900 were recovered. Is the FBI still investigating?
FBI uncovers 14,900 more documents in Clinton email probe
The FBI’s year-long investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server uncovered 14,900 emails and documents from her time as secretary of state that had not been disclosed by her attorneys, and a federal judge on Monday pressed the State Department to begin releasing emails sooner than mid-October as it planned.
Justice Department lawyers said last week that the State Department would review and turn over Clinton’s work-related emails to a conservative legal group. The records are among “tens of thousands” of documents found by the FBI in its probe and turned over to the State Department, Justice Department attorney Lisa Ann Olson said Monday in court.
The 14,900 Clinton documents are nearly 50 percent more than the roughly 30,000 emails that Clinton’s lawyers deemed work-related and returned to the department in December 2014.
Lawyers for the State Department and Judicial Watch, the legal group, are negotiating a plan for the release of the emails in a civil public records lawsuit before U.S. District Judge James E. Boasberg of Washington
In a statement after a hearing at the U.S. district courthouse in Washington, Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said the group was pleased that Boasberg rejected the department’s proposal to begin releasing documents weekly on Oct. 14, ordering it instead to prioritize Clinton’s emails and to return to court Sept. 22 with a new plan.
“We’re pleased the court accelerated the State Department’s timing,” Fitton said. “We’re trying to work with the State Department here, but let’s be clear: They have slow-walked and stonewalled the release of these records. They’ve had many of them since July 25 ... and not one record has yet been released, and we don’t understand why that’s the case.”
“State has not yet had the opportunity to complete a review of the documents to determine whether they are agency records or if they are duplicative of documents State has already produced through the Freedom of Information Act,” Toner said. “We cannot comment further as this matter is in ongoing litigation.”
Clinton campaign spokesman Brian Fallon said, “As we have always said, Hillary Clinton provided the State Department with all the work-related emails she had in her possession in 2014. We are not sure what additional materials the Justice Department may have located, but if the State Department determines any of them to be work-related, then obviously we support those documents being released publicly as well.”
Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit in May 2015 after disclosures that Clinton had exclusively used a personal email server while secretary of state. Judicial Watch had sought all emails sent or received by Clinton at the State Department in a request made under the federal Freedom of Information Act, which covers the release of public records.
In a statement, State Department spokesman Mark Toner said the agency previously agreed voluntarily to hand over emails sent or received by Clinton in her official capacity as secretary from 2009 to 2013 but that tens of thousands of documents would have to be “carefully appraised at State” to separate official records from personal ones.
Monday’s hearing comes seven weeks after the Justice Department closed a criminal investigation without charges into the handling of classified material in Clinton’s email setup, which FBI Director James B. Comey called “extremely careless.”
On Aug. 5, the FBI completed transferring what Comey said were several thousand previously undisclosed work-related Clinton emails that the FBI found in its investigation for the State Department to review and make public. Government lawyers until now had given no details about how many emails the FBI found or when the full set would be released. It is unclear how many documents might be attachments, duplicates or exempt from release for privacy or legal reasons.
Government lawyers disclosed last week that the FBI has turned over eightcomputer discs of information: one including emails and attachments that were sent directly to or from Clinton, or to or from her at some point in an email chain, and were not previously turned over by her lawyers; a second with classified documents; another with emails returned by Clinton; and five containing materials from other people retrieved by the FBI.
The 14,900 documents at issue now come from the first disc, Fitton said.

“Always A Good Point”: Fox News Anchor Boosts NRA’s New False Attack Ad On Hillary Clinton
Fox News aired a new attack ad from the NRA that misrepresents Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s record to falsely claim she “could take away” your “right to self-defense.”
Before and after airing the ad, Fox personalities gave credence to its faulty premise.
A new $5 million ad buy from the NRA depicts (http://mediamatters.org/blog/2016/09/20/nra-ad-uses-home-invasion-footage-lie-and-fearmonger-about-clinton-and-guns/213200) a home invasion attack where a woman is awoken in her home as a man kicks in her door. The woman begins to open a gun safe to retrieve a weapon but the gun vanishes as a narrator says, “Hillary Clinton could take away her right to self-defense.”
The premise of the ad, which suggests Clinton would ban gun ownership, is false:
Clinton has repeatedly said (http://mediamatters.org/blog/2016/08/01/nra-offers-false-attack-complaining-clinton-has-armed-security/212064) that legitimate Second Amendment rights should be protected while she advocated for expanding background checks on gun sales and other measures (https://www.hillaryclinton.com/issues/gun-violence-prevention/) to prevent dangerous people from accessing guns.
She has also explained that you can call for stronger gun laws “and still support the right of people to own guns.”
Fact-checkers have repeatedly (http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/may/11/donald-trump/donald-trump-falsely-claims-hillary-clinton-wants-/)rated (http://www.politifact.com/north-carolina/statements/2016/aug/11/national-rifle-association/nra-ad-falsely-says-clinton-doesnt-believe-your-ri/) as false (http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/jul/21/donald-trump/despite-new-adverb-trumps-claim-about-clinton-want/) the claims (http://mediamatters.org/research/2016/08/15/fact-checkers-blast-leaps-logic-nras-attack-ad-clinton-has-never-said/212402) that Clinton opposes gun ownership by law-abiding Americans and that she would abolish the Second Amendment.
Fox’s The Real Story aired the NRA ad on September 20. Fox News national correspondent John Roberts credulously gave credence to the ad’s claim with his lead-in:
“It's a $5 million buy in five battleground states in which they take aim at Hillary Clinton and her push for new gun control and what that means -- might mean, rather, for people's safety. Watch this.”
http://mediamatters.org/blog/2016/09/20/always-good-point-fox-news-anchor-boosts-nra-s-new-false-attack-ad-hillary-clinton/213212?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+MediaMattersForAmerica-CountyFair+%28Media+Matters+for+America+-+Blog%29

I use a combination of H1-Bs and FTE's for almost every project I deliver. If I didn't most projects would be cost prohibitive.
I wonder if I should vote for the candidate who wants to expand the H1B visas or the one who is more likely to end it - seeing as my whole family is probably gonna be in some STEM field.
GOP front-runner Donald Trump said the H-1B hurts American-born workers and that he would end it outright. U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio said the program needs to be better policed, while Sen. Ted Cruz simply said the U.S. needs to update its immigration laws for the 21st century.
“I know the H-1B very well. … We shouldn’t have it; it’s very, very bad for workers,” said Trump,
Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton has taken the opposite stance, saying she is in favor of expanding the number of H-1B visas made available annually. Clinton’s position allies her with a tech industry that claims there is a critical shortage of U.S.-born tech workers. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, whose calls for more protections for American workers helped him to a stunning upset over Clinton earlier this week in the Michigan primary, wants higher wages for H-1B workers so that employers are not tempted to use them to replace Americans.
The range of positions isn’t surprising. The H-1B visa has been steeped in controversy since its inception in 1990. A Democrat-controlled Congress created the program to give employers a means to hire foreign tech workers at a time when “startups” like Apple and Microsoft were creating the personal computing revolution.

It's more about being able to scale the labor up or down as projects dictate and being able to manage it through a single firm as opposed to having to deal with a bunch of individual 1099s. That would be an HR/overhead nightmare.

“I know the H-1B very well. … We shouldn’t have it; it’s very, very bad for workers,” said Trump,
This is a classic example of you selectively hearing what you want to hear. Trump has flip-flopped so many times on this issue that I doubt whether his campaign knows where he stands now. Consider the following statements from Trump during the debates:
Becky Quick: “Are you in favor of H-1Bs or are you opposed to them?”
Trump: “I’m in favor of people coming into this country legally. And you know what? They can have it any way you want. You can call it visas, you can call it work permits, you can call it anything you want. … As far as the visas are concerned, if we need people, it’s fine. They have to come into this country legally. We have a country of borders. We have a country of laws. We have to obey the laws. It’s fine if they come in, but they have to come in legally.”
Megyn Kelly: “Mr. Trump, your campaign website to this day argues that more visas for highly skilled workers would, quote, ‘decimate’ American workers. However, at the CNBC debate, you spoke enthusiastically in favor of these visas. So, which is it?”
Trump: “I’m changing. I’m changing. We need highly skilled people in this country, and if we can’t do it, we’ll get them in. But, and we do need in Silicon Valley, we absolutely have to have. So, we do need highly skilled, and one of the biggest problems we have is people go to the best colleges. They’ll go to Harvard, they’ll go to Stanford, they’ll go to Wharton, as soon as they’re finished they’ll get shoved out. They want to stay in this country. They want to stay here desperately, they’re not able to stay here. For that purpose, we absolutely have to be able to keep the brain power in this country.”
I know the H-1B. I know the H2B. Nobody knows it better than me. I’m a businessman. These are laws. These are regulations. These are rules. We’re allowed to do it. … I will take advantage of it; they’re the laws. But I’m the one that knows how to change it. Nobody else on this dais knows how to change it like I do, believe me.
I know the H-1B very well. And it’s something that I, frankly, use, and I shouldn’t be allowed to use it. We shouldn’t have it. Very, very bad for workers. And second of all, I think it’s very important to say, well, I’m a businessman and I have to do what I have to do. When it’s sitting there waiting for you, but it’s very bad. It’s very bad for business in terms of — and it’s very bad for our workers and it’s unfair for our workers. And we should end it.
Basically he's been saying whatever he thought his audience wanted to hear and speaking out of both sides of his mouth knowing that his poorly informed supporters won't care. And true to form, you sit there and applaud like a trained seal despite the obvious self-contradictions.

I do agree 100% the H1B should be abolished or at least taxed at a very high penalty.
More and more Americans, even those graduating with actual good degrees (STEM) and decent to good GPAs are having rough times finding careers that match their majors and pay fair entry-level salaries (say, about $70k in Texas for CS and engineering positions) fresh out of college as one should expect after 4 years of hard work and scholarship.

Hillary Clinton’s ‘Honesty’ Numbers Improve By One-Quarter
There’s a new NBC News/Wall Street Journalpoll (http://www.wsj.com/public/resources/documents/16804NBCWSJSeptemberPoll9212016.pdf) out Thursday that’s getting a lot of attention in the media, mainly because it shows former Secretary of State
Hillary Clinton with a five-point lead over Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump in a four-way race, and a
48-41 advantage among likely voters in a two-way race.
The poll also reveals a “good news/bad news” situation that the press is only reporting the bad side of: Hillary Clinton inexplicably remains stuckbehind world-class liar Trump (http://www.mediaite.com/tv/politifact-writer-debunks-lies-about-hillary-then-declares-both-sides-are-egregious/) in the “honest and straightforward” metric, in which Hilary scores 31% and Trump scores 41%.
that 31% represents a significant improvement in this metric from the last poll, which had Hillary at 25%, while Trump has not improved at all, and remained at 41%.

Do you happen to know anyone who currently works at Google - maybe a former classmate? They have a referral system that would get your application to the top of the heap. Also, my dd's room-mate interned at MicroSoft this past summer and they requested resumes from her friends. Maybe they have something similar for graduates. Don't know how you'd get to know current MS employees though.
Does anyone know why only the left-most column of Hillary's issues are clickable? Is it because I didn't agree to the Trump is unfit to be president statement :-) Hopefully she's not gonna run the country the way her website is run - as in not working - lol.

Can I work from home or work in Texas?
I'm not going to move to Libcon Valley, surrounded by pansexual weirdos, pay 60% in income taxes, $50 for a chinese buffet, or not get any bags when I have to go to the grocery store in that shithole state. And that's before my body gets sagitally split in half by the San Andreas... no thank you.

Hahaha - sounds like my dd - no thanks to $15 hamburgers and high rent for some little space (the only thing that's cheap there is Uber - which I know is a sore point with you guys in Austin :-) She and her friends want to try Seattle next summer - at least 9+% doesn't come straight off the top in state taxes.
If you're looking for a good employer with cheap cost of living (and don't mind the cold), check out Epic Systems in Wisconsin.

I love the cold... and the white girls up there are raised properly and way hotter than they are in Dallas. Seriously

Hard to believe no one would hire you.
I only applied to jobs in TX, plus one in MA at IBM (but that was kind of an oddity).
