Kobe being an All-Star is the biggest disgrace to the league since gambling scandal. If anything, maybe Kawhi was sucking to show solidarity with Kobe.

Team clearly overlooked them coming into the game and you combine that with playing on the second of a back to back and missing two key players with this being Kobe' s final game at San Antonio and you get a close victory. Nothing to worry about until March 19th, tbh.

The Spurs won, Kawhi's still shooting over 50 FG% this season, averaging 20 ppg, and he had a double-double tonight. :toast

That's because he rebounded 5 of his 9 (official) bricks. :lol

Agree, he's a beast on the boards. It's amazing how he gets the most offensive rebounds and gives the Spurs second chances...You have to love this kid. :flag:

LOL... that's true.
Of course, Kobe was a former LEAGUE MVP, 3-time All Star MVP, and became Finals MVP the year he went 2-12 (.167) from the field, 1-5 from 3P, and 0-2 from the FT line - against Charlotte. Just a few games before that, he went 4-21 (.190), and 0-3 from 3P against Milwaukee.
Admittedly, neither of those teams were nearly as shitty as this year's Lakers, but they weren't defensive juggernauts either. I guess sometimes the shots just don't fall, huh? :p:

Lol at said 10 win team being the Lakers.
You mean 20 pts on 13 shots :wow
This. If he doesn't get hacked on so many shots because TOSB Kobe can't guard him his fg% looks a hell of alot better. Instead he goes to the line a ton and still comes out with a fairly efficient game.

That's why we use TS%. Scoring ability instead of field goal percentage.

Nope. When Bin Harden goes for 40+ on 15 shots, don't complain that he went 23/25 from the charity stripe to get his points. It's not different from Kiwi getting 20 points because the refs gifted him 15 freebies.
So in essence, he made 12/15 freebies (12 points), and made 4/13 FGAs (8 points on 30.769% sh:lol:lolting) vs. a 10-win team. That's impressive to you? :downspin:
