View Full Version : Rockets: A competent team would have beaten the Warriors tonight...

The Rockets had so many golden opportunities and just didn't take them. Stephanie Curry was human from downtown. That's not going to happen often. Could have won it....

Well Curry started 6-7 from 3 so not exactly human, but it did even out

Rockets played well tonight. Just lost to a better team. Also, way too many dwight post ups late in the game. Killled houstons rhytem. They also kept fouling howard on attempts and obviously he misses 60% of the time.

Should have stayed small imo.

You'd trust them? I wouldn't. They have no discipline under duress.

I'm just saying that overall, the Warriors didn't look quite as sharp as usual. Gotta pounce on those kinds of games! Considering there aren't too many from them

Howard should be traded by the deadline. And good God please get rid of Brewer, Lawson and Bev.

Harden is a loser, dj. & he doesn't even care. He's having the time of his life.

Howard was ok in the first half the problem with going to him late is the FT shooting. He rushes shots cuz he doesnt wanna get fouled. Still a good defensive presence and rebounder but if he is one of your two best offensive players you aint winning shit. Harden should ideally be a #2 but if he had someone as strong as say Jimmy butler or a healthy PG as his #2 or co#1 maybe with the right coach he could lead a team to a title. But i still think he is a #2.

Howard will never be that guy ... I told y'all this. You wouldn't listen. My distaste of Dwight did not cloud my vision on the matter.

Its the culture of the organization. No one holds anyone accountable thats the biggest problem. Not developing players the right way. It starts at the top. Bring in someone other than Harden and shit will be the same.

He wants a max contract and the Rockets told him no. Better to trade him for something than lose him for nothing. Hes a liability now because he is declining and hurt. His first two years here he was great.

I do think Morey is in trouble and should be. At the same time, Alexander has to fucking pick a direction. Tank or not.

Parsons and Pat Beverly developed not sure either guy would do any better anywhere else except maybe with Dubs or Spurs. But I hear ya ...and my team has it worse.

Rockets have no shot in the series but I hope they get the 8 seed because they will give them a better run than any of the other teams near the bottom of the playoff picture .

In that thread I showed you that the Warriors were not going anywhere with Mark Jackson. They took a huge shit in the playoffs 2 consecutive times after that thread. Eventually things turn, that doesn't mean it wasn't true when I said it. Steve Kerr knew it was true, which is why he reined Steph in and got others involved.

I don't expect you to get it though, church league coach. Anyone can see the obvious, but only the keen eye catches shit like that and I caught it and made the rest of you like it.

Only DMC is clever and witty on this forum Thread ... he literally sees what no one else sees. His sense of humor is high-brow on a plane, nay a star-ship that hasnt been invented yet. Years from now, When someone looks at this forum and sees the gospel according to DMC ...the human mind will FINALLY be at a level advanced enough to decipher the hidden gems DMC was depositing years prior. DMC has an AAU Select level understanding of hoops we just ply our trades and musings in the church league ...:cry

AAU is basically streetball.

I've outlined very clearly and on more than one occasion how Curry's season would end (and it did), what should be done about it (and it was) and that he was a world level talent if he was coached properly (and he is and he was).

Kerr concurred.

None of you saw this (or perhaps you did and just enjoyed the wasting away of a good team under a shitty coach because "Steph can ball"). I saw it and through a series of well timed and well constructed posts I outlined what it took SI two years to see.

I know some of you don't place too much importance on regular seasons, but it wouldn't be surprising if they sweep the playoffs too.

This team doesn't have the record they have just because, it wont be surprising if their dominance in the regular season carries on to the playoffs. Obviously with each game being more competetive, but they'll still pull through.
