Sucks because it's tough to find an adequate replacement in OKC, the city with the ugliest females in the US. Maybe he can find some cute young thing on a road trip who will go for his money. Idk.

Thank goodness I don't drive a car. Driving is dangerous.

Went over to confront him and the guy called me a liar and basically wanted to come out and throw down but Ingrid grabbed his ass and yanked him back inside the apartment. Prick left me with about $600 in damage to pay for while in college.

All car accidents are caused by driver error, so the 55 year old woman driving with her dog on her lap probably caused the whole head on collision. The dog probably moved or something, causing the woman to lose control of the vehicle. It's pretty stupid to drive with your dog on your lap, this is very tragic but his wife was just sadly in the wrong place at the wrong time. Very tragic, so sad. My heart goes out to everyone that was killed, even the dog. His wife though would probably still be alive if that driver wasn't so foolish to be driving with her dog on her lap, that's why there are pet carriers. Drive responsibly people.

My aunt was in a major accident, 2 years ago, because she was driving with her dog in her lap:lol..

She went through the windshield and the dog went flying(tiny breed) way in front of her..the dog and the passenger were fine, as was the person in the other car, but she broke a bunch of bones and lost her memory..it took her like a year to resume normal life..that's what you get for being an idiot..

I get that if it's about not showing up to a birthday bash, but when your wife dies in a car crash and you have 5 kids who no longer have a mother, it's not hard to find people who's family means a lot to them.

If he was a white man no one would ever think to make that stupid qualifier about how he cared for his family.

No, it's not. There are plenty of men in this country who don't give two shits about their family. Of course they'll cry if one of them dies, but that doesn't mean family meant a lot to them. Not everybody is a family man, especially not in the NBA. People who know Williams say he is. There are probably few scenarios like being an NBA player that can show your true colors in that regard. People seem to respect the guy.

The race-baiting is a little silly. I've heard plenty of white guys referred to as family men.

And this country's knuckleheads won't stop till the dog is honored & laid to rest. And Media will self crush in the stampede to make damn sure the knuckleheads are heard & obeyed.

It'll be some pertinently placed aside, like, something like this:::"It's not the dog's fault for being on her lap, and it's not even her fault for having the dog on her lap. It's not against law in that state to have an animal on your lap when driving. It used to be, but, a new law was past on June 11, 1986 by the unicameral to change the original law. She was an elderly person who bought the dog to arrest her loneliness. Kareef Abdul Afar, the Humane Society adjunct director remembers Mrs. Smith as a carrying person when she adopted the dog. "She very nice, how you say, person. Yes, I come to America to escape the Nazi's. I love America. Excuse me I have to get into my Wikieup and pray toward the East, Martha's Vineyard I think. Chow."

"Mr. Addul Afar has worked for the county's Animal Shelter/Human Society for six months and makes $85,000 a year plus bonuses and health insurance/private health insurance."

- "Amy Duncan reporting 'News 3 in the Evening.'"

Reminiscent of that time Avery Johnson walked out on an interview after learning of the death of Bobby Phills, whose Porsche veered onto oncoming traffic after drag racing Wesley Davis. Niggas were doing a hundy in a 45. Fake and lame, Avery...

C'mon, Bra, let's bury the old proverbials. I've known your acquaintance for nigh on 8 years. You've said things that have enraged me and I've let them pass, after I took it out on the wife.

What say, old horse?

Fine with me old chap'

As I said your post about Pop is wrong... dude is a human being, Monty is a good friend of him, he probably knows very well the whole family... but yeah let's move on, I've passed the age to keep bitterness on that kind of stuff

I feel for Monty and his kids ...
But damn, Cully you get in these zones where I dont know whether to laugh, shake my head or close my phone. You are a marvel sick and twisted at times but a marvel.

It's not pointless. Apparently he cared about his wife, to the point that his colleagues noticed.

Still not buying the race-baiting angle.

And you shouldn't. I don't know how it's relevant even if you buy in to the most black men dont care for their kids stereo-type (which has some truth to it) I dont think anyone was playing the race card in that moment. I believe the mention of his family man status was sincere by all of those who did so ...

Not sure where you get 12 has anyone messed up ...it bothered Kool and maybe Luva but most other Lakers posters here have hardly spoke to it. I see more consternation upstairs over Duncan's place then I see down here. Cully ingored it. Ashy said it was just about right as did I. I have Kobe top 10 because I dont do Wilt, Russell and Oscar. IF i did and saw them play He would probably be 12th or close to it for me as well. it's a ranking fun to discuss. I dont even get Amb's issues with Moses and David's spots. Moses is underrated on ESPN probably slightly overrated on SI imho. But who cares about a couple spots?
Both lists got the top 5 mostly right.

No, you can't say "not sure where you get 12 has messed anyone up" then go on to say a couple who it has messed up. That's messed up. I didn't read the rest.

Bothered and messed up are two different words with different meanings.

Messed up
a. A cluttered, untidy, usually dirty place or condition: The kitchen was a mess.
b. Something that is disorderly or dirty, as a accumulation or heap: Who left the mess on the kitchen floor?
2.
a. A confused, troubling, or embarrassing condition or situation: With divorce and bankruptcy proceedings pending, his personal life was in a mess.
b. One that is in such a condition: They made a mess of their marriage. Her boyfriend is a real mess.

Bothered
To cause to be irritated, especially by repeated acts; trouble or annoy: "I spoke French badly. So I always replied to him in English. This didn't bother him" (Paul Theroux). See Synonyms at annoy.
2. To make agitated or perplexed; upset: "Jerry could see ... how much the doctor had been bothered by the failure of the first surgery" (Rick Bass).
3. To intrude on without warrant or invitation; disturb: "When I saw him slumped in a chair, deep in thought, I decided not to bother him" (Pat Toomay).
4. To give discomfort or pain to: a back condition that bothers her constantly.
5. To take the trouble (to do something); concern oneself with (accomplishing something): "Most people [with the syndrome] have such mild symptoms that they never bother to see a doctor" (Jane E. Brody).

You are the genius ... I'm the moron, you should know this ...
