will spur fans blame Finley? or will they pull out the Pop has to go card?

Think about the Spurs not doing what 98% of what their fans want and expect them to do, and that is to repeat, face it, until they do they will always be second best to the lakers as far as many around the NBA see them..

Is a repeat not that important to you as a Spurs fan? Or is it something you look foward to the Spurs doing this season?

If it does not happen , who will you blame?

Thank You

It will go to coach Pop. but you have to wonder if the Finely deal was worth it.

Could the Spurs had went after someone else.

IceColdBrewski will blame Parker.
Marcus Bryant will blame the Spurs for trading away Malik.
Ghost will balme Pop for not signing Payton
T Park, in an annual rite of spring, will have renounced all affiliation with the Spurs after game five.

Like whom? Fin was the best free agent available for the money. If Finley is the difference between winning and losing a series, someone else isn't doing their job or there's been an injury. Nobody is going to just hand the title to the Spurs, and every fan that has seen how difficult it is to win a championship should realize that. Many won't, of course.

does anybody really have to take the heat? if it's a total blowout, then blame the coaching staff. if it's chemistry, question the trade..

it really depends on how it's going to play out this year.

and since the spurs play as a team, they have to suck as a team for that to happen. which is kind of a remote possibility.

You have to do your homework and look around,

who knew this 2nd round pic would be any good?

Emmanuel Ginobili, Reggio Calabria (Italy), 6-6, G

Did not play college basketball.

Selected by San Antonio Spurs in 2nd round (#57 pick overall) of 1999 NBA
Draft.

Sometimes it's just fate...

What IF Horry's 3 had clanked out...

What IF Fisher's shot not had counted...

What IF Allen's shot gone in...

It all depends... not necessarily bestow blame on a person or team ... but rather on fate...

Ok now back to my chutes and ladders :)

Answer the question: Who was a better free agent available for the price? Do all the homework in the world and the answer is "nobody".

In answer to your question: The Spurs knew he would be good. I knew he would be good. It has nothing to do, however, with the free agent market this year.

Losers always have an excuse, just ask Mouse. There are plenty of people on this board that look for someone to blame when something goes wrong. The Spurs have to earn a championship. They might be favorites but that doesn't really mean shit when it comes right down to it. They should know they have to show up and play as hard as they can and hope that they get a couple of breaks because that's what's required to win.

When you look at it literally, there isn't always one person to blame. Soemtimes a seires is just a lucky shot away. But if the SPurs don't repeat, the blame will probably fall on Tim, the Spur with the highest profile, and coach Pop.

1st. if the Spurs don't repeat, the only thing to blame will be injury. (knock on wood) This team is primed and ready. No excuses.

2nd. I agree with your comment on how the Spurs would be percieved around the league if they don't repeat, but guess what, the league is FULL OF SPURS HATERS already...it's not a suprise...and wake me when Spursfan should give a shit about what any other hating fan thinks anyway....:tu

Maybe the question from SMACKIE CHAN should have been, "Since the MAVS NEVER win, who should get the blame?"

Since it is so close to the start of this season, ponder that for next off-season Smackie...you will have the chance to do so...AGAIN!

You guys can laugh all you want, but if you think your getting of the hook your wrong.

You should go back a few pages to see when the Spur where 2-2 to the Sonics , it seems like everyone and thier mothers were getting the Blame.

have fun now and take full advantaged of not having to blame anyone, But GOD is my witness as soon as the spurs lose four straight? this website will be in a major state of caos, and I would not be part of it, I won't be surprized if some of you Blame Kori herself for the Spurs meltdown ahead, you have been warned, good day all......

My approach to Spurs basketball is very simple.

I want them in one of the top 8 positions in the Western Conference by the middle or 3rd full week of April.

After that, I want them to win 16 games before they lose 13.

Everything else raises the blood pressure.
