Mike Judge with the goods.. Office Space is a classic

Mike Judge must've worked in an office before because he nailed some of that shit. All the little inner-office politics and shit was perfect. In fact around the same time that movie came out I was working for a company that had hired an outside consultant (for an obscene amount of money) who was interviewing people trying to see where they could save some money. The company was extremely top heavy with management, but none of those positions were eliminated. Only lower level dudes (with billable hours) were let go. Of course they folded not long after.

But the TPS report conversations, the office party, and even the little office meeting about changing work order codes or some shit (wasn't a major scene, Peter was just walking by IIRC) was all golden.

Terrific scene :lol Judge picked a good soundtrack for this movie and the slow mo stuff is outstanding. Reminded me of this scene :Bolton going HAM at the end is great

Funny this thread came up today...I had a total Michael Bolton moment this afternoon. I was out on the patio at my local draft house and this kid rolls by in a small SUV...like a Blazer or something. He's a ginger, so he's really, really white with a red fro. He's probably 20 years old. Then I hear some intro music come loudly from his vehicle...it's unmistakable...Born Killa by Scarface. As he rolls further past I hear Brad..."Imma born killa, your face to face with Scarface...":lol

I have biz with many of these nerds at their IT comlanies. And offices are just like the movie. Its amazing how close to life it is. Bosses are like lunberg and they really have a thing called TPS report.

I completely disagree that it loses itself halfway. Its a complete classic
