Sad for him, this issue could really curtail or end his career..

This will keep re-occuring over and over. His career might as well be over to be honest.

Brian Vickers has the same condition, and he's about Bosh's age as well. The blot clots keep coming back since he's stuffed in a car fpr like 3 hours straight.

He's already peaked and won all the rings he'll ever win regardless. He should just retire early and chill.

Apparently the traveling is a major reason for his problems, according to his doctor..sucks, seems like a good dude..

Damn, my favorite player in the NBA tbh. I think he still gets into HOF if he retires now.

I just saw him on a Xarelto commercial too. You can't play sports on anticoags. And if his condition is going to require that he stay on them, it's game over.

Take his aspirin, chill on some sunny island. He's getting his money and as mentioned has got all the rings he's going to get.

Gotta be careful with that shit. That's what killed my friend Jerome Kersey.

Retire tbh, no point risking your life

Yeah, but, now you see the end (end end) of the gravy train and you want a couple more months of that cash. "I'll bank it." --- I'll just bet you will.

He's gotten a lot tbh. Now risk for another contract, die, and you'll be unable to spend all that moolah

How's he going to feed his family if he retires though

I'm not saying another contract. Just the rest of this season. He'll imply that with every intention of coming back next season. He had plans for that money of the next 5 years. Gone, poof.

I'd be sick. "Why, why did this have to happen to me? Why, Girl, why? Goddamn it! Fuck it! How bout if I play just one more sea..."

"No, Dale, no."

"I'm doin' it. I don't care."

So he can retire, the Heat get his contract off the books, and then sign Durant this summer?

Nah: http://www.cbafaq.com/salarycap.htm#Q63

They couldn't get relief until the ASB of 2017. Would make for a very interesting trade deadline, though.

Sad news, I hope Chris retires. He has his money, he has his allstar berths, he has his rings, I hope he keeps his health now.

Good to hear..Heat have played decent without him..i think they have a puncher chance to make ECF if he comes back at some point..

they are playing 10X better without him... Also, it's time they realize Dragic is their leader and not Wade.

Griffin doesn't get a pass because he's more light-skinned, tbh..

You mean the guy who can't do shit in the halfcourt. Doubtful. Especially come playoff time. If you said Whiteside on the other hand, sure.

We've somehow been better without Bosh, at least offensively with Deng at the 4 and the Iso Joe signing. But I don't think we can beat Boston or the Cavs without him, though. What about Toronto, you ask? They'll implode like always in the playoffs.
