I know that Kawhi is not the most personable guy in the world but I'm perfectly fine with it as a fan. I like that he is no non-sense and is single-minded when it comes to basketball and improving his game. It's refreshing to me in this day & age of "look at me" and social media driven athletes. Man, we got lucky getting this dude. On another note, I read George Hill may be available for trade. I'm not sure what his salary is but I wonder if the Spurs would contemplate bringing him back to San Antonio. Man, talk about a total rape.

Next step for Kawhi is to begin discussing social issues, tbh..he's the perfect face for Black America in the NBA, right now, with the media trying their hardest to push the light-skinned, non-threatening Steph Curry..
Lebron is currently the voice, but he doesn't have much left in the tank..

Expecting a mentally handicapped athlete who can barely discuss the sport he plays to talk about social issues :lmao You got a better shot at seeing Duncan discuss the LGBT movement.
And Lebron is the voice of Lebron's pockets and that's about it.
Media is not trying to push Curry either, Curry's at the top because he's the best player in the NBA right now by a wide margin. If there was any kind of media push, they would have given him the FMVP last season, which they didn't.

He couldve been MLK and wouldnt have gotten FMVP.

Non-threatening white boys are the majority and they want to see non-threatening (almost) white boys not sucking at sports. It's rare and NBA needs fans (money), so...

I believe it was Patty. I think he said so at the Alamodome; 2014 Championship celebration parade.
