Porking it up out there..

It was good while it lasted...He has been getting worse with each game after that vintage performance vs the Cavs..

His lack of skill shines when he's the same speed as everyone else.. his decision making this year has been the worse I've ever seen from him. Pop relying on him to go from a sg to a pg is not working out tbh. He got away with it when the team needed buckets and no one wanted to shoot. Now we got plenty of touches to go around with Kawhi, lma, and duncan in the first unit. Not to mention Danny bail out 3s.

I was kind of hoping for a teague deal to go through during the trade deadline. Not like you can get a worse defender tbh.

He's been awful since the start of January...pretty discouraging. This team isn't beating GS with Parker being a negative like he was all of last year.

Meh, it was unrealistic to expect him to sustain the level he played at during the first few months of the season, considering his age and mileage..

He hasn't been playing well since the calendar hit 2016, but hopefully he's just coasting, rather than going through the same stages as last season..

I think even that OKC match-up becomes iffy with him in this shape if Manu can't recover in time to shoulder the playmaking..

eI'm ok with that against small teams, but he shouldn't against top teams tho...

I didn't expect him to sustain that level, but he's been just as bad as he was last year it seems...I was really hoping that wouldn't be the case.

Since 2016: 10.6 ppg on a 50.2 TS% :depressed

He was actually pretty great in November or December last season... then fell of a cliff.... hopefully this season isn't the same, but frankly, he played over the summer, so it shouldn't be surprising, tbh...

I have to admit it looks pretty bad. Even on the rare occasion that he does get to his sweet spots, the ball just skids off the rim.

Starting to show a faint pulse, two jumpers. Boban's impact is significant and he and west play well together, each one understanding what the other is trying to do.

I don't think anybody was really up for this game..1st game out of the break and it's not like the Clippers are Golden State or OKC, either..

Finished the game well, cut their lead to 5.... Then Poopovich happened

Looked like west was up for it. And it's getting pretty late to still be lacking a signature road win to hang your hat on.

This is what drives me crazy. You find a combination that's actually working, then........"thanks, now go sit there the rest of the game. "

yep.

parker slows us down. it's like when the spurs play with parker they're working... but when they're playing with patty (or ginobili) they're having fun.

Ironically since the All-Star break, Parker is playing better:

Before: 13/5 on 52% shooting
Since: 16/5 on 52% shooting

He's still leading all guards in field goal percentage, but he's just increased his scoring.

he should be coming off the bench looking to score instead of being a game manager who's never been a great passer that dribbles time off the clock.
he would have an even easier time scoring on a team's second unit too.

Omg. This is the biggest news ever. He left the locker room first when he could've waited for a few seconds after someone else goes out first.

Eh, nothing to see here. He'll be alright. He knows his role and will have his moments. One should expect games like this on the road from time to time from your third option.

Probably why they got Miller so Tony can rest a few more games.

Tony was tired all night. He's a very technical player, has to play by the numbers and against a team that doesn't do shit right that's hard because no one is doing what you think they'll do or what they should do based on your screens and picks and cuts. Tony has to recalibrate when that happens and it slows the offense considerably. Patty has the ability to adjust on the fly, and he's the type to flourish among the chaos while the other team is running amok. Patty and Manu are two of the only energy guys on the team, the rest are more technical, more group lock step of sorts. You need that burst of energy and that ability to change the pace, mix it up, do crazy shit to throw the other team off. You also need the fundamentals and the technically sound plays to wear down the opponent. Parker just didn't have it tonight but he wasn't horrible.
