Two scenarios. First one And likely Bonner can't play rest of the season and had a nagging calf injury? Take Bargnani? Or second one, Bonners calf is looking better and patfo knows this. Still, take Bargnani?

Would love to have Jamychal Green right about now. Sucks we tried to play him as a small forward when we had him.

So he cleared waivers. Haven't heard any interest.

Messina coached Bargnani in Italy and had praise for him last summer, saying he still wanted to prove himself in the NBA. He still has a remarkable skill set - probably well preserved from never having been really tapped! Perhaps Messina could get this guy to play to his potential if The Red Rocket is done...

Fuck this shit, I'd rather have Blair or Alfrederick Hughes back than have Bustnani on the floor.

About the only former Spur I would rather not have back than sign Bargnani is Bob Hill.

I liked him all season (I watched a lot more dleague last season) and he's played well for the Grizz, is young and has been healthy. We should have had him instead of both Daye and Ayers. Not a huge difference maker as those two guys barely played, but once Tiago got injured and we started playing Bonner big minutes and to top it off he wasn't hitting his shots.. damn J.Green could have helped. He could have been a bigger story than Simmons this season as far as dleague guys having an immediate impact, just bc a shooting big was a huge need for us, and he has in fact played very well for a roleplayer for the Grizz.

idk man, dude was a straight up cancer. I haven't seen many players on the Spurs that the core guys obviously didn't seem to like too much tbh

Lockeroom cancer, bad attitude, etc.
kind of like a Demarcus Cousins behind closed doors.

Bonner. Both add nothing of value but Bonner knows the sandwich shops

How about we let Bonner be a part of the front office or an assistant and know the sandwich shops and have neither as a player? I like that idea.

..... you guys want to replace Bonner with Bargnani? Jesus christ... is that even a lateral move?

Are we TRYING to get worse?

What are the chances Bargnani could actually step up in his career if exposed to the Spurs franchise?

Sign Blair is a better option

You know, there’s a thing that you can do when you are no longer capable of playing it’s called RETIRE.

Which applies to both.

All depends on Bonner's health... let's get real, he barely played and in the few minutes he played.. he injured his calf muscle!

He was taking a jump shot. No contact. Just injured himself taking a jump shot!!!!

If he isn't healthy, then I can't see how he should take up a much needed spot.

Bargs should sign with Minnesota so they can have even more #1 overall picks on their roster.

While you can compare attitudes, if you have the opportunity to land the best big in the game, you land him. ZERO Qs asked. Big difference with a scrub like J.Green.

He was the same way at Alabama. Always getting into fights with coaches, and would miss games for breaking team rules

Dude would get suspended all the time. Alabama would never release what the violations were. From what I would hear it was always a fight, not showing up for practice, and issues with head ball coach.
