Tim Duncan has pretty much turned into what Peyton was this last year. it's pretty sad I wonder if he'll ever score 20 points in a game again. hopefully he could go out on top like Peyton

He's taken a lesser role and is deferring to his teammates - which is what he should be doing. I don't think some internet nerd's misplaced sympathy matters much to him or the Spurs organization.

Tim'll be fine. Our last RRT was ugly, the Spurs finished with a losing record and people said the same about him...But Tim was huge in playoffs.

He was not this bad for such a long stretch of games though... nor was he out with sore knee for something like 3 weeks. I am still hoping he's just getting that rhythm back bc he was injured, but if he's looking like this in a couple of months it will not be good. He still has time though.

well at least we've guaranteed ourselves a winning RRT record now so there's that.

I wonder if this drop off is because of him letting LA get his place on the offensive system or because he has seriously regressed physically. If it's the second option then LA has definitely been worth it.

Duncan shouldnt be starting for a team that wants to be a contender

Last time I checked, having an elite defensive center helps contending, tbh.

Spurs don't turn the ball over when Tim starts b/c he doesn't panic & knows the system inside/out.:rolleyes

Will Tim Duncan ever score 20 in a single game again?

Peyton was probably the worst QB statistically to win a Super Bowl (this past season) and was one of the worst starters in the league all year.

Timmy is still an elite defender and rebounder, even with the off nights offensively.

The more apt comparison would be if Kobe were "leading" a team to the title.

Even making that comparison shows me you don't comprehend football, basketball or both for that matter. Try harder next time.

just look at the defense since Timmy and Kawhi are back ... his points are a bonus, but not necessary

Only had a double double on 7/11 shooting. Trade fucking scrub. Has no potential. Never gave team anything. Make him earn his spot.

Spurs have been a contender his entire career dummy. Stirring the pot for attention is very charming of you.

Yes. And he will do it more than once. It's Tim Duncan!
