I actually see no problem with Lakers fans tuning out right now. Lakers management is basically selling them the sports version of a 1977 Pinto. It's actually insulting how lazy and cavalier Buss and Co have been since inking their Time Warner deal. Their pockets are already full, so there's no pressure on them to deliver a quality on court product. Buss will continue to milk Kobe and his star power (even when Kobe retires, a billion chinks and bean3rs will still religiously buy Kobe merch), while doing fuck all with regards to scouting (worst in the NBA), analytics (worst in the NBA), and roster building (worst in the NBA). Yeah, they'll likely grab a high profile FA, but that will still fail to get the Lakers back on track. They need a total systematic rebuild from management on down. There's no quick free agent or draft pick fixes like there once was. This isn't 1990.
