Unless he struggles the 50 and 40 is given.

90%ft though is where its going to be difficult. Currently he's seating at 88.2%

Hes averaging around 4fta per game, so in the next 23 games he will probably shoot around 100fta assuming he plays them all.

He will get to 100fta considering the fact that he always gets a significant increase in minutes post all star break even if he does not play all the games.

In the next 100fta though, he has to make 95 of them to hit 90...which is super unlikely specially for a player that just shot 80% last season.

I doubt he could make it, But he could be in a league of his own. I'd say 50-50-88 . Now that would be something!

89.5 counts, tbh

in college, 89.5 = A

I'm not sure if the league rounds of...most likely not. If they do 93-100 is huge difference from 95-100

Thats two more room for misses

Only fair. Round to the nearest whole number. If it's 89.4% it's 89%, if it's 89.5% or greater it's 90%. Basic math

Shouldnt count as a 50-40-90 season though..unless theyve always rounded off..Ive never really paid attention to this.

But two extra misses is huge....93-100 sounds much more doable than 95-100

Or he can just pretend he's playing Pokemon and make 'em all!

Even if he doesn't make it, it's a huge accomplishment. To raise his percentages the way he has is incredible. :tu

Bird did this while averaging 28; and it had never been done before at any clip. The next year, he did it while averaging 30. The slobbering media then gave his rightful MVP to MJ. It was the original Rose/LBJ scam.

Kawhi has already made 10 more 3s in 54 games on a much better percentage than Bird did in in 20 more games & Curry is going to quadruple it. :lol

You know what has never been done? Someone shooting 50/48/88 while playing elite defense: http://bkref.com/tiny/MjLjg :wakeup

Just how elite Kawhi's defense has been this season is very questionable, tbh. His steals have dropped by more than one and his d-rating is 5 points higher than any other time in his career. And if you're trying to make a case that Kawhi does more on the offensive end than Bird at the peak of his powers, you should get your brain checked.

His defensive rating is at a career best 94.8 (3rd in NBA), 2nd in Defensive Win Shares, 7th in DRPM (best among non-bigs, next non-big is Tony Allen at 24th, and after that no one else in the top 40)

You're right on the d-rating. Apparently, I was looking at a wrong box. Glad to hear I'm wrong in this case.

You must be smoking crack b/c Kawhi actually has the lowest DRtg of his career:rolleyes & what the hell does steal have anything to do with ACTUALLY playing defense when Westbrook is the league leader.:lol

There has never been a small-forward who shoots/rebounds like Kawhi & plays elite defense, the closest thing is Bird who was NEVER a lockdown defender. Once Kawhi improves his playmaking abilities (ala Draymond) then it's a wrap.:toast
