D'Angelo Russell is going to be a hell of a player. Way too many people were rushing to label him a bust after 30 or so games as a 19 year old.

I don't understand people who say unequivocally that a 19 year old can be a bust. It's ridiculous. He's still a child by most respects. Can't even drink.

He's probably going to be a very good player for LA. However, I doubt he's the savior of the franchise.

You got 30 teams chasin',,,,,,I don't know, what,,,,5 "saviors?" Christ, I can't even deem 5 off the top of my head.

We got a GM who categorically quit because he couldn't figure a way to build his youth & service Kobe at the same time. And got away with it. Media never handed up a single indictment. Just climbed on the train a tootin' thru. Not one fucking word about it.

Obviously you're correct. That's why managing expectations are important on a message board, not proclaiming that a certain team is only 365 days away from ruling the league again.

So, what, we've all made gargantuan predictions & claims that have failed to come anywhere near fruition. That's part of the very essence of this Forum.
