Just incredible what this man has accomplished. Not only that, he's leaving his franchise in very durable hands since he sacrificed his fair share of salary in order to allow the organization to bring in fresh talent and keep the talent they've developed.

Definitely a top tenner of all time. He got ripped at 8 tbh.

Let's put this shit into perspective. You made this thread to big up Jim as if he's done something great, but in reality all you did was show how lethargic Jim's numbers are compared to a living legend.

Kareem retired with 38k points.
Kareem retired with 17k boards
Kaeem retired with 3200 blocks.

The only likeness Jim has with Kareem is blocks. Everything else is a fucking wash.

Which totally explains why your favorite chapter 134, as Naruto and his thousand shadow clones attack a vunerable Gaara, all of the onlookers are completely surprised. As a last resort, Gaara completely transforms into Shukaku and tries to crush Naruto with his sand. Still refusing to lose, Naruto uses the Nine-Tails' chakra to summon Gamabunta to escape. Seeing Shukaku, Gamabunta has no interest in fighting, especially since Naruto has yet to earn his trust. Gamakichi, Gamabunta's son, assures his father that Naruto is a good person since he protected him from Gaara. Enraged that anyone would attack a member of his family, Gamabunta agrees to help.

Or if you prefer it in the original language:

Sorry, S&B, but I have to correct you on this. This shot is NOT his last shot against the Spurs. It's his last Memory of playing in San Antonio. But don't worry, you just used the wrong gif. His last shot looked exactly the same, but it happened under the eyes of his adoring followers @Staples.
Took the maintainance crew four hours to find and repair the impact hole of the Basketball some 10-15ft away from the target.

^ Exactly Mid.

Per 100 possessions:

Points:

Kareem: 29.9
Duncan: 29.8
Winner: Kareem +0.345%

Rebounds:

Kareem: 13.1
Duncan: 16.9
Winner: Duncan +29% :lol

Assists:

Kareem: 4.5
Duncan: 4.7
Winner: Duncan +4.3%

Blocks:

Kareem: 3.4
Duncan: 3.4
Winner: Even, though Kareem doesn't get credit for his first 4 seasons since they didn't track blocks yet.

Though, Kareem TS%: 59.2 vs Duncan's 55.1 (Kareem+7.4%)

Pace means a lot.

Also, if Duncan plays two more seasons, he will be pretty close to Kareem's totals in rebounds despite playing way less minutes (Duncan is only 21 shy of 15k, he's way over 14k) while likely past him in blocks unless he misses a ton of time. Kareem is only way ahead in points. Safe to say Duncan is by far the better rebounder of the two because he is.

Because Duncan played on teams with pace in the high 80s/low 90s, while magic played on teams with pace in the low/mid 100s.

Duncan easily surpassed magic. Better overall stats, same rings with less loaded teams, longer career, more finals MVPs, more rings as the top dog, less coaches fired.

Magic is my favourite non spur of all time, and I actually like magic more than Duncan, but when you look at this objectively without piss and purple coloured glasses, Duncan clearly had the better career.

When you look at it from that perspective (what is actually built), the two best candidates for GOAT are Duncan and Russell.
