If he lost one that would explain it. Any time you lose 15-20 pounds you have more bounce and spring in your step.

I remember his first year with the Spurs, Pop wasn't thrilled with Manu's unorthodox, risky (crazy) play.

Manu said something like "That's how I play"

subtext: "Live with it, I ain't changing"

Pop lived with it.
