thanks for winning today! Good looking out, Kobe. Even though TD could give a rat's ass about you retiring, you did us a real solid today, tbh. Props.

Man, did GSW play poorly. 20 TOs, 4-for-30 (THIRTY!) from 3. Curry with a very mortal 18 points, 1-10 from deep.

More importantly I think that the Lakers way of going for the ball at each and every opportunity, to create steals and turnovers, was really smart.
Indeed as we've seen in the past, there's not much that can be done to lower the Warriors shooting %: they basically have a 50% chance to make just about any shot, regardless of range or whether it's contested, etc. So the deal is, forget about the man, go for the ball. If you miss and the Warriors player blows past you, it doesn't really increase his chance of scoring, which was already very high anyway.
Facing a guy like Curry who shoots the same from 28+ feet as a center below the basket, traditional D is pointless. Rattle him, foul him, put the hand on the ball.

Kobe was 4-14 not sure I'd give him the credit for the win. But I'll take it.

This. They couldn't throw it in the ocean today and were turning it over like crazy. Just as shit game for them on an early Sunday tbh. Nothing more.

We now control our own destiny for the #1 seed. It'll be damn hard but if we keep pace and win out verses Dubs were the top seed.

Apparently LAL did something right here. Curry and Thompson were just horrible shooting tonight. 10% from 3 point line.
Could it be that the decent sized quick LAL wings gave them troubling looks?

Yeah. Tbh we aren't catching the Warriors anyway. I'd rather they win 73+ games and Spurs beat them on their own court in the WCF. Unlikely, but would be awesome.

Turnovers are the key to beating or losing to the Warrors. If you can take away the ball or deny the shooters the ball you will have a great chance to win .
I believe we had 25 turnovers when we lost to them.:bang
Shucks, I wanted them to go undefeated, break the Bulls' record, get heaps of praise piled on them, have a LONG winning streak and have tons of pressure going into the playoffs.

Yep.
If the Spurs win one game in Oakland, they'll have to lose at home or else be the champs.

The Splash Bros shot a combined 1-18 from 3. Russell and Clarkson went 7-13 from 3.

Maybe the Spurs can keep it within 30 next time LMAO

I really like Jordan Clarkson's game. Nice to see a San Antonio kid do well. Amazing that him and Andre Roberson (OkC) played together at Wagner High School (San Antonio) and they both made it to the NBA.

Yep, the Warriors have had so many games going into the 4th down double digits. Then Curry starts taking and making shots that would be awful for any player in the history of the NBA other than him. A win is a win though.

Maybe the Spurs can keep it within 30 next time LMAO Maybe GSW can find a way to win in SA. The last time they won in SA you weren't aware there was a team in the Bay Area. :lmao

As good a strategy as any I guess. Still, warriors shot like 10% from 3 point land today, so they were way below the 50% mark from anywhere.

I'm in Indianapolis right now for the Spurs game tomorow. Hopefully we can take advantage of this GS loss and gain some ground on them in the standings!!

The Warriors seem to have a lot of trouble with loaded backcourt players this year and it might be the key to beating them. From losing to the Blazers, close calls with the Mavs, and now the Lakers, it seems like the teams that tend to play two PGs in the lineup give them a lot of trouble.

I'd love to see him in a Spurs uniform but it's likely the Lakers will match any offer for him next summer
