I don't know about the Vikings being back...remember, this was the Saints they were playing. Not exactly Super Bowl contenders. I'll wait to see what they do for a few more weeks before I annoint them NFC title contenders.

What the hell does that have to do with me not believing that Minnesota is the real deal....I've been a Lions fan for over twenty years, it's not like you're bringing any news to my attention...Of course the Lions suck, but news flash...SO DOES THE VIKINGS......moron.

Vikings suck for the season, and so does Culpepper.

Culpepper has been injured, that's why he hasn't played very well this season. When he comes back from the bye week he'll be back to his old self.

Go Vikes!

The Raiders have been competitive in their games... on the other hand, Culpepper has completed about as many passes to the other team as to his own...

Raiders > Vikings

what crack are you smoking? I want some!

Raiders losses have been to: KC, New England (1st week), and Philly (they actually gave Philly a scare in Philly).

Everyone knows the NFC central is a joke this season.

I was talking about record wise.

Tampa 4-0
Cincy 4-0
Atlanta 3-1

overall 11-1

NE 2-2
PHI 3-1
KC 2-2

overall 7-5

Yep the Vikes have played tougher teams.

Also the Vikings beat the Saints by 17 points while the Raiders beat the Cowboys by only 6.

Let's see, Minn's opponents...

Tampa's victories include:

Sun 9/11 at Minnesota W 24-13
Sun 9/18 Buffalo W 19-3
Sun 9/25 at Green Bay W 17-16
Sun 10/2 Detroit W 17-13

Buff (beaten by NO). Green Bay (shit my grandmother can beat GB). Detroit (let's not go there)

Now for Cincy:

Sun 9/11 at Cleveland W 27-13
Sun 9/18 Minnesota W 37-8
Sun 9/25 at Chicago W 24-7
Sun 10/2 Houston W 16-10

Cleveland (fucking Cleaveland? plz :rolleyes ). Chicago ( :lol ) Houston (( :lol )^2 )

Atlanta's wins:

Mon 9/12 Philadelphia W 14-10
Sun 9/18 at Seattle L 18-21
Sun 9/25 at Buffalo W 24-16
Sun 10/2 Minnesota W 30-10

Philly (Eagles were undermaned in that game anyways, but i'll give you that one), Buff (again, NO beat Buffalo). I'll give you ATL as a worthy opponent to have beaten the Vikes.

Now for the Raiders' opponents:

Patriots:

Thu 9/8 Oakland W 30-20
Sun 9/18 at Carolina L 17-27
Sun 9/25 at Pittsburgh W 23-20
Sun 10/2 San Diego L 17-41

Pitt (I think we can all agree Pitt is a top tier team in the AFC). NE's losses have been to really good teams.

Eagles:

Mon 9/12 at Atlanta L 10-14
Sun 9/18 San Francisco W 42-3
Sun 9/25 Oakland W 23-20
Sun 10/2 at Kansas City W 37-31

I don't think you can find a better team in the NFC (perhaps ATL) that's better than Philly. They beat KC in KC. I don't think TB, ATL, or Cincy could pull that off.

Chiefs:

Sun 9/11 NY Jets W 27-7
Sun 9/18 at Oakland W 23-17
Mon 9/26 at Denver L 10-30
Sun 10/2 Philadelphia L 31-37

This might be the weakest opponent thus far that's beaten Oakland, but they are still better than Cincy without a doubt. Cincy's just been playing easy teams so far. And they'll probably beat the Jags this sunday night, but that team is depleted all around with an injured QB in Leftwich

Sure, Minn's opponents have better records, but whom they've played is also a factor. It doesn't take much logic to figure out why there's so much talk of Mike Tice on the hot seat while Norv Turner is still in a safe zone (but probably not for long).

Both our teams suck, but Oak doesn't suck as much :hat
