Did the Lakers retire Rambis's number? (And he did much more).

The Lakers have a much higher standard for retiring jerseys than the Spurs, tbh:lol

Won't be surprised. They probably make the ceremony at the first game post his retirement.

I think they felt compelled to retire Avery Johnson's number cos they had never won anything before. It'd be a gray area now.

Finley would have had his jersey retired here too if he didn't ask his way off the team in 2010

Virtual lock. The faggots who run the spurs give out retired number banners like participatory ribbons, then renege on it as we all know. I pity the mouth breathers who have blind faith in the front office retards.

What'd Silas do to get his number retired; be a ho hum scorer on a sh**y team?

Spurs get blown out by the Dubs and their counter is to sign 50 year old Miller, choker Martin, and playing Bonner more. PATFO :toast

What's worse, the nepotism in LA with Doc and Austin or the weird relationship Poop and Boner have?

statue tbh

If Bonner got a statue of would literally egg and spray paint that shit. Great regular season player but completely choke during the playoffs. It wasn't until Tiago replaced him as a starter and Diaw replaced him as the first big off the bench that the Spurs started having success again.

Rivers tore Manu a new one in the playoffs. Only person Bonner has done that to is Pop.

So, Choice B

Fucking Boner would always start off the season fine, then once February hit, his 3 ball starting bricking and by the time the playoffs rolled around, you'd be better off having Amy on the court getting railed by her personal trainer.

No man, it's be as black as the ace of spades. Avery Johnson was simply wretched, imo. I think one of the reasons I have given Parker so much rope is that he is so much better than Avery Johnson. Good god Cojo and DeColo were better than Avery Johnson.

Red Mamba's part of the bench will be retired and hung from the rafters.

Remember Red Mamba = Champion.

I don't like AJs number retired, but I'm ok with Bowen.
Bonner is somewhere in between.

No. Because Bonner will never retire. He will suit up for the Spurs long after we're all gone.

This thread confuses me. If they retire Bonner's jersey, what new number would Bonner wear when he plays?

I hope you are joking.... Bonner is a Spurs legend for what he did on the court (timely playoff 3's) and what he did in the locker room as a leader. It is understood in the Spurs organization that Tony, Tim , and Manu were all better players but Bonner was the heart of the team .
