Will it be LMA name or Bowen name?

let's say hypothetically that LMA won only 1 title for the Spurs.

Vs. Bowen who was part of 3 titles.

What do you mean? The number is already retired. Bruce let LMA wear it if he wanted to.

So this mean that there is no way to retire LMA's jersey next time?

Anything is possible with the Spurs, say LaMarcus wins a few LOBs with the Spurs as a top 2 option, he's a shoe in for a jersey retirement in S.A. / Visitors.

If he wins atleast 1 ring with TD and Manu in the lineup he deserves a jersey tbh

The banner with number 12 and Bowen's name is still there, even if LaMarcus has been allowed to use it. Should he do enough to have his jersey retired as well one day, they will simply add another banner with number 12 and Aldridge's name.

It is not unprecedented: the Blazers retired number 30 twice (Terry Porter and Bob Gross).

That No. 6 hanging up there sets the bar pretty low tbh

Some of you believe Bonner's jersey needs to be retired :lol .. So by those standards, Aldridge has already done enough to get his jersey hanged in the rafters.

Huge fail OP.

It should have "Bryant" on the back. I'd pay for the change myself.

Once the Kawhi Dynasty goes into full swing after the Big 3 retire, we'll see the standard raise for who gets their jersey retired. At the time of 6 being retired, those were our first few chips and he was a fan favorite. Understandable.
