- too fat to go to games
- 40% empty seats on a 70 game win season
- can barely get an mvp caliber player as a starter in a historic season
- cant fit on staduim chairs
- too lazy
- too spoiled.
In Comparison
The Bobcats fill their seats up while being a medicre team.

Just about every regular season home game I've been to has been a snoozefest...even the close ones. Everyone just sits there like they are at home on the couch.:lol The two playoff games I've been to the crowd was great though...so you could say it's the team's fault a little...just like the team there are no fucks given during the regular season and they turn it on for the playoffs.:lol

Remember that time ya's came alive in the arena and there wasn't even a game in there. Just bring a canned good, get in there, watch the Extinction Level Event from the sun & fun capital of the world, Miami Beach.

Sometimes I notice at halftime 40% of the seats are empty but then midway thru the 3rd qtr some of the burrito eaters come back. But still a lot of empty seats.
a. Why don't the seat holders that sit empty all game give their effin tickets away?
b. The ones who don't get back in their seat till mid 3rd qtr, exactly how many burritos are they eating?

The Hawks this year had more fans showing up in the game...than spurs
This has been a shit year for basketball.
Outside of the Warriors which are exciting to watch, the level of entertainment everywhere else is low.
I haven't watched a full NBA game since last years playoffs.

That's sad if true, hawks have the shittiest fanbase. You routinely hear them cheer for opposing players

it's sad during the regular season. the crowd is better in the playoffs... but still nowhere near golden state/mavs, just to name a couple off the top of my head.

i don't know if i've ever seen a fanbase not wear the free shirts they give out on a particular night more than spurs fans.
other arenas, the places are full of that team's color. golden state/mavs/rockets/grizzles/cavs/heat... they're always wearing them.

Shittiest hometown supportets of all time
They're sold out to scalpers who predicted big season due to signings. Fans ain't messing with their ripoffs. Spurs got their money's worth tho. And the like someone said.. spurs don't care about the regular season.. it's the Pop effect. :lol

Its kind of ironic since Spurs away games pretty much always sell out and tickets to those games are pricey as fuck.
Check out ticket ordering on other team's sites. . .they jack up Spurs games prices bigtime :lol
Understandably though. Best teams = highest price to see them. Spurs have been a hot ticket for nearly 5 years now.

Funnilly enough, Spurs fans have been very fucking loud on away games. On every away game you can hear what sounds like a pretty large group of people cheering everytime the Spurs make a basket. Lots of bandwagonners after 2014, tbh.

What you're hearing is the local chapter of Lamda signifying for Duncan.

Been to only one home game this season when they played Charlotte, and didn't even get to the game until the end of the second quarter because the brazilian steakhouse place was packed where I ate for my birthday. It was pretty much a sold out crowd for a Saturday night game, and not very good Hornets team. Been to a few games in Houston even the Christmas game one this year, and even if the team isn't as good as the Spurs they were many empty seats at that game also. The loudest crowds I've ever been apart of were game 3, 4 of the Dallas series in 2010, and 2012 against OKC game 1 comeback and game 5 when Harden made that 3 :depressed. I went to every playoff game during that 2012 run. I even went to game 5 in 2013 against Miami when Gino went off, and the crowd wasn't that crazy until we knew we were going to win that game. Probably nervous? So the Spurs have always had great support. I work evenings so I can't go to a lot of the games, even if I didn't I'm pretty much saving my money for the playoffs tbh when the feeling is a lot different in the At&t Center that you love. I do admit I know two season ticket holders on my facebook who are always selling their tickets. Even to the good games. Don't know why, but they do go to some of the games, even against the bad ones.

I thought against OKC they were pretty wild.
