1) Are those garmet steamers any good? I'm thinking about getting one because I hate to iron, but will it even work? And if it does work, will I just hate steaming as much as I hate ironing?

2) Has anyone ever purchased fresh fish through the internet? There are tons of sites out there that will package your fish and send it to you overnight. Wouldn't that cut out the grocery store middle man and basically be the same thing? Or does it sound fishy to you? Where do you get sushi quality fresh fish?

I had more, but I've forgotten just what they were. Answer those and I'll post the others later if I remember them.

Thanks in advance.

steaming may be slightly less noticable than ironing

making jekka do it would be even easier

I've been getting this sushi grade tuna from Central Market, and it is ok to make blackend. The price is pretty good too, you get a pound for under 20 bucks. But it just isn't all that fresh. It is really fresh by regular standards, but when you want to eat fish rare or you want to make nigri with it, you don't to screw around.

Manny, do not f__ around with raw fish. The only way I would do it is through a reliable supply chain, or if you knew and trusted someone who was knowledgeable about the fish you want and could bring it to you fresh from the coast on their trip back to SA.

Yeah, some of these places do seem reliable. But well, I just don't know. Damn, why isn't there just a place I can get sushi grade Tuna and Salmon here in town?

I could ask the guy @ Goro's that we always go to for Sushi, but I'm not sure he'd tell me where they get their fish from. They always have the best fish.

Oh, and usually you can tell with Sushi very easily. If it smells at all, its not fresh enough.

Subject: Re: About order

The order arrived in very good shape. No dents or other damage to the outer box - not even scratches!
When I opened the box, the abalone on top were still cool even though the box was left in the afternoon sun.
One of the lobsters jumped out of the box when I lifted the packing straw. Can't get much fresher than that!!
Everything just tasted wonderful, and I would not hesitate to order from you again.
I have been telling friends how great and easy it was to order from you, not to mention the quality.

Thanks so much,
Janet

Try using a tampon SPurminator. Oh and the only way that'd be normal is if you also find yourself getting moody, feeling bloated, craving chocolate, and getting pissed off at the world for no reason.

Speaking of fresh....I sent my best friend some flowers from there for her birthday...and they came (un-arranged) in a box with those little water tubes on the end of them.

So essentially, she had to put together her own flower arrangement. :oops :lol

But they were indeed fresh! :lol

I'll never use Proflowers again. The roses were tiny, NOT fresh, and the wrong color.

Ask for Rick, Tell him El Chapulin Colorado sent you. When you pick up your order it is packaged in an ice box ready to go. Good fresh seafood, at a fair price is all you can ask for.
