Tough loss for the Spurs, but he was indeed the weakest link aside from the Redhead. It's nice to see young players performing well after coming out of Pop's bootcamp.

Meh Clippers just choosing their 1st round opponent. Memphis are dropping like a stone and have a very tough schedule. Clippers want them at 5th. They have another meeting before the season's end and would likely lose again.

I'm thinking tgis blake injury is a blessing in disguise for the clippers. Griffin should be ready physically in a 2nd round matchup with the warriors...and he will never get burned playing too much
...'m so looking forward to that matchup.

If Blake can play at the level he played to start the season...damn, that series is going to be a lot closer than people expect

I was big on Ray. Just needs playing time and an easier, but still disciplined, offensive scheme. Spurs probably has zero intent to use Ray until next year.

Sad,, the spurs are all about the free agents over development. They're pretty much the Lakers of central Texas is that regard.

McCallum just needed to develop more and it wasn't going to happen here. Needs playtime for a team that can afford to give it to him. We're in win now mode and what he had to bring just wasn't what we needed at the time. Seemed like a great guy though.

yeah, this was likely a stealth Clippers tank to keep Memphis at 5th seed :lol....Doc will be soon DNPing Paul few times because they have ridden him hard..they will get to work Blake back into early season shape for the last 2 weeks + cushy 1st round...

The issue w/ the Cripples is that DeAndre can't expose Barnes in the post. Dude just has to pound them on the offensive glass ala 2014 otherwise it's going to be a disaster.:lol

Sadly, it wasn't a stealth tank. It was a retarded coach continuing to put Jamal and Pierce out on the court at the same time and pretending that his scrub son is an NBA-caliber point guard. Also, the Lance/Jeff Green trade will go down as yet another retarded Doc Rivers move. I'm honestly hoping for a first round exit so we can finally fire this faggot and his Euroleague third-stringer of a son.

He's played 30+ minutes in only five games out of the 235 games he's played in the NBA, with the most recent nearly four years ago. Never good enough to get those kind of minutes, now he's not good enough to wave towels on an NBA bench.

Spurs didn't seem to think Black Ollie was anything special. He might put up some numbers for the middle of the road Grizzlies. Won't ultimately mean a thing. He can't be a serious part of a champion.

Goalposts haven't moved. I go back exactly to what I said, Jimmer does the job when he gets 30 minutes plus. In those five games you speak of, he scored 20, 19, 17, 17, 14. But you keep creaming your pants about Ray getting 14 in 35 minutes if it makes you feel good.

Don't know why spurs got rid of him....Im a fan of Ray Ray.....

Because he can't run an offense. He can score, but my word is he clueless on running the Point. The fact that Memphis has Lance who can run the offense, this allows Ray to be more of a SG which he is. When Manu was out, you saw just how clueless Ray was without a playmaker helping him out.

Cowboys_Wear_Spurs
03-21-2016, 09:17 AM
And I knew Lance would be a great addition for Memphis. He fits their cultural and playing style perfectly. Plus having a bunch of tough hard nose players to keep him in check is really going to benefit him in the long run.
