He's defense was awesome last night. Not just the three blocks on curry but the whole game. That was an awesome sight to see last night.

Danny was in fact brilliant in his defense on Curry last night. Admittedly Curry looked tired and had every right to be on the 6th game of 9 nights including dropping a ton on Dallas the night before, but it was still terrific to see Danny able to defend Curry without fouling out. Next game, when Curry is fresher, will be telling, but our guys did a good job of switching and meeting him on or beyond the three point line.

Well done defense by all the Spurs last night.

Hardly unsung, even by national media.

I saw him a few days earlier and said good luck vs POR / GSW. He said "We'll be ready." :tu

There was a block on a right corner three (don't think it was Curry that shot it) that DG likely got a piece of. I don't remember if the ball still hit the rim; and I don't know if he got credited for a block.

Yep, he's getting a lot of shine in the national media, tbh..hopefully enough attention that he'll get the 2nd all-D selection that he should have received last year..

Shit, he even sang the national anthem. This was the wake up NBA world: the Spurs have 2 elite wing defenders.

I still laugh at everybody here who wanted to replace him with Simmons in the starting lineup ...

His game against Durant was probably more impressive because it was a traditional one-on-one lock down. He might have been the most effective cog against Curry, but he wasn't the only guy on him, and the team's gameplan made the transitions seamless.

Would they give Western Conference player of the week honors to Danny? Maybe Kawhi or LaMarcus? Not that it really matters, but sadly it will probably go to Westbrook or Durant.
