If he had played the entire 2015 season,,,he would have finished with 30+ hr/110+ rbi's as a rook. Come back in 20 years when his career is over and bring this thread back up,,,,dude is gonna transcend the game the way MJ did in the NBA. Cubs are the favorites to win the series this year and if this kid wins the title while winning the Series MVP and has a season like 40+ hr/100+ rbi,,,,his stock is gonna go through the roof. Trout and Harper,,,,move the fuck over,,,,

Just to put it in to perspective for you kids,,,,Trout in his first 2 years had 35 hr/99 rbi. Harper had 42 hr/117. Bryant(barring injury) will have 50+hr/200+ rbi in his first 2 seasons.

Lemme guess, u prolly think coming back form a 4 run deficit, in the 8th inning of a road elimination game isn't lucky at all, right? Let's stop pretending that luck/random events don't play any factor in baseball. Your Royals don't dictate shit about what the Cubs can or can't do, tbh.

It's not luck when the Royals came back from deficits plenty of times in the playoffs. Its not luck going to the World Series in back to back seasons and almost winning both.

There's a difference between being down 2 runs in the 5th and and being down 4 runs in the 8th inning of an elimination game being played on the road. U can tell your self whatever you want, but the fact remains Royals were in fact lucky to win that game and stay alive. But I do give you full props to beating the shit out of an even flukier Mets team.

I thought Bryant's "long swing" would forever keep from being an elite all around hitter and more of a one-dimensional Stanton type slugger, but he sees the ball so well.

Top 3 is impossible to judge 2 seasons into a player's career. It's gotta be a gut call at that point. Even watching MJ in the mid 80s you knew he was special, but GOAT was a huge reach at that point.

He certainly seems to be living up to the hype, though, and perhaps exceeding it. He's a wunderkind with his flexibility on defense. Cubs are loaded for years to come with the core they have and a couple of solid prospects in the pipe.

I think at this point the inarguable GOAT of baseball is Epstein. Dude is fucking magic.
