View Full Version : Will LMA win "Player of the Month" for March?

His main competition currently is Klay who has been scorching hot from 3 (feasted on the Mavs like Danny in 2013-14) but had duds in both of the Worriers losses.
LMA outplayed him in their head-to-head & played well in the two losses the Spurs suffered when he suited up.
Both have 2 game left in March:
-LMA: Grizz/Pels (should be able to feast especially with Kawhi & the Big 3 resting)
-Klay: Wiz/Jazz (above average opponents & Curry might steal the spotlight)
Would be hilarious if they gave it to WestBrick who is shooting 41% but he has to split votes w/ Durant.
So far, only LMA/Curry are nominated for the West & Lowry/Thomas for the East: http://www.nba.com/video/channels/award_nominees/2016/03/23/kia-march-nominee-lamarcus-aldridge.nba/

Westbrook and Ibaka were still in the game with 5 minutes left Saturday against the Spurs Reserves padding stats.

:wow
that progressive integration and growing comfort within the system has been remarkable..There is still that big game jitters worry, but dude has come along pretty nicely (he is shooting a career high with Spurs) ..
It does feel though that we are going to need 20-22 ppg out of him in playoffs seen how sucky and inconsistent the supporting cast has been..

No.

Aldridge has been a monster and he deserves it over Chimpbrook who we all know is purposely stat-padding triple doubles to try and beat Magic's record.

he probably refused Donovan rest order last night against Pistons (Ibaka/Durant sat out) just for the sake of that..:lol

Shooting 41% (28% from 3:lol) & getting burnt by a bum like Austin Rivers.:lmao
OKC also lost while barley breaking 80 when their REAL MVP (Durant) sat out against the Pistons w/ WestBrick going 8-28.:lol

Okay....still had 7 triple doubles while going on a 8 game winning streak you think the voters are going to care about him going 8-28 or Rivers making a bunch of threes or him tying Michael Jordan record for most triple doubles in a month? He's going to be player of the month.

I guess Draymond is going to be the MVP b/c he has more triple doubles than Curry.:lmao (Last season WestBrick led the league in triple-doubles by a mile but OKC didn't even make the playoffs b/c their MVP was out:lol)
You are right about the voters being morons though so I'll give you that one.:lol
