Spur Bank

I quit my job to become a hippie and backpack the world. My first six months will be backpacking around South America, starting next Monday the 4th.
This of course coincides with playoff time. Are there any native South Americans here who can comment on how easy or difficult it will be for me to find the games to watch, or people with South American travel experience? Mi espanol es muy nuevo, pero puedo hablar y he estado practicando. I live in New York now so I'm very used to going out to watch games at bars on my own, but I'm wondering if playoff games will even be available for broadcast down there.
I'm sure it varies by country and locale. I'll be arriving in Ecuador and heading up to Colombia in May, so unfortunately I won't be in the Spurs hotbed of Argentina until after they've won their sixth championship.
