Dan is almost at the 176 mile marker. He plans on sleeping. It's about 23 hours since he left Vegas.

Impressive as this all sounds, the final leg of Bilzerian’s ride was not without drama. Prior to the challenge’s start, it was agreed that Bilzerian would ride without mechanical assistance. But specifically, there was no talk about whether or not he could draft behind a van. Drafting is a bicycling term for riding behind a moving object that spreads the air the rider would ordinarily have to push through. According to Perkins, for four or five hours during the latter part of the ride, Bilzerian was behind a van that had its rear doors open in order to cut down on resistance. :rolleyes

I've done this (not from L.A. to Vegas :lol ) and I'm sorry but the riding is way the f easier when you draft right behind a van like this. With doors open to boot? Pssssshh.

That having been said, since Rick Solmon who by trade being a *professional* snake did not bring up the subject, ya that's pretty lax of him.
