Not meaningless, tbh. Rings are awesome but they're not EVERYTHING. Why not have the honor of being the greatest team of all time? No. I'm a Spurs fan and I don't think that it's meaningless. If it was the Spurs in this situation I'd definitely want it. You don't get many opportunities in life to be the greatest of all-time at something. Somebody wins a ring every year. Lakers lost to the 14 win Bulls both times that year :rollin ... lost the first half of game 4 to Sacramento by 26 points... or 23, should have been 26 if not for that Shamaki Walker halfcourt 3 that clearly should not have counted... that series was about to be 3–1 heading back to Sacramento, if the Kings had held on then game 5 would have been a blowout win for the home team and the Kings would have steamrolled the Nets. Of course, we all know this.

They are gonna have to back this great regular season with a ring. So all the pressure is on them in the playoffs. I still think the 72-10 Bulls team was more dominant and impressive. This Warriors team is playing great team basketball, but they have had plenty of close games this year that went in their favor like the Utah game tonight.

They will have an insane amount of pressure on them now to back this historical NBA season up with a championship. Going against the Spurs, Clips, OKC is no cakewalk and if they face Cleveland the Cavs are gonna play their asses off vs them. They should be chasing it but I think if they get to 73 wins Kerr should just rest his players. They absolutely have to back this season up with an NBA title or it's the biggest epic chokejob in NBA history.

Curry sat out one of their losses, and Green also. I think they'll get 73 easy. Teams have to bust their asses to defend the 3 point line against them from here on in. Warriors losses so far this season:

108-95 v Milwauke: 6-27 3PTFG, Curry 2-9 and Thompson 2-7
114-91 v Dallas: 7-19 3PTFG, Curry DNP
112-110 V Denver: 10-26 3PTFG, Curry 5-12, Thompson -1-2
113-95 v Detroit: 10-25 3PTFG, Curry 7-15, Thompson 1-5
137-105 v Portland: 12-34 3PTFG, Curry 7-13, Thompson 2-5
112-95 v Lakers: 4-30 3PTFG, Curry 1-10, Thompson 0-8, GSW 4-30 13.3%
87-79 V Spurs: 9-36 3PTFG, Curry 1-12, Thompson 1-7, GSW 9-36 25%

This team lost to the Bucks and the Lakers on horrific shooting nights. If their 3 ball isn't falling they lose their confidence and the game. They are so good though that those sorts of terrible shooting nights are so few and far between. Can the Warriors win some playoff games when the 3 ball isn't falling? They are 68-7 lol so it's easier said than done to make them have shitty shooting nights. Can a team play well enough through 7 games to keep the 3PT pressure on the Warriors? As they rely so much on 3s every playoff series for them will be interesting. Will they skunk it up from downtown in 4 out of 7 games? If they do have a skunker, and maybe another one, will it play with their heads the rest of the series?

At an insane 68-7 i'm sure they have won games when they haven't shot well from 3 also as they are a great team. The blueprint is there to beat them, but can a team make them shoot like shit in 4 out of 7 games? And how? Only time will tell. These playoffs will be awesome. They could also get trapped in the 1st round like the 2007 Mavs and 2011 and 2015 Spurs. Some 8 seeds pull one out of the hat on the 1 seed. Can Houston, Utah or Mavs, whoever it may be have one of those series against GSW. It happens. And everyone will be gunning for them every game of every series. Most likely Spurs V Warriors WCF which will be EPIC.

It is cool watching them go after this and they proved they were a legit team. Something to be proud of independently of winning a title.
