Here it is, so it can be bumped det one game every 2-3 weeks when he actually makes a couple of 3s and ends up being a net positive... :hat

Frankly, I always assumed he'll find his rhythm, but we're inching closer to the playoffs and this nikkra is starting to get me worried.

Just imagine how good this team would be if Danny was shooting even 37-38% from 3, much less 41-42% like he's done in the past...

I just don't understand how such a great shooter can completely lose his touch like this. Yeah yeah, the offense looks different with Aldridge blah blah blah...I don't give a shit. Dude is bricking wide open spot-up 3s left and right. You can make all the excuses you want but there's no reason he should be shooting <35% with how many open looks he's getting.

I always thought he would get it going at some point, as well. I'm not sure what the deal is this season. He had a good game recently and made a comment about how he tweaked something with his shot and it worked. Then he goes back to being bad on offense. It's weird.

Concerning. I hope this is a jinx thread and he shits on us and this thread by turning on the heat in the playoffs. We know he's capable but it has looked like a down year. It wouldn't be so noticeable if he was a more versatile plAyer, but he's not and we are screwed if he's hitting at 30 % in the playoffs.

Thabo actually shut down a certain star on our team. A 6'2" guy from a country with a bunch of migrant terrorists in it.

do you think that maybe he did something with his shots, like altered in abit in hopes to improve it but he realized it was a bad move, and the adjustments are making it worse, so now he's trying to revert back to his old shooting style, and currently, he's still trying to find it back but still havent..?

LOL The moment I see Danny put the ball on the floor and head toward the paint, I'm already screaming at the television. Fuck he's bad driving the ball.

But he's bad shooting the 3 too.

Danny will be in a similar scenario against Wardell & the Worriers.

It's depressing that his contract his going to make him a part of the Spurs core for years to come unless someone out there wants to trade for him.

The only way to success is forgetting DG is on court.
Man, those layups 5 foot over the rim going nowhere, WTF!?

Losing Danny Green was a big stress this past summer. I'll still take his defense, but I can't recall such a big drop in outside shooting from any other player in recent memory barring injury.

Early in the season I thought he catches the ball because he was looking to establish that he can drive. He still catches the ball the same way so maybe it just a result of thinking "dribble" i stead of just catch and shoot

It started last year against Clippers.

Most games, I don't even notice him on the floor offensively. It's like we're playing 4 on 5. His bad form and release has come back to bite him. Maybe his partying too.

Lack of concentration can really kill a 3 point shooter. Especially if he has to concentrate extra hard...just to overcome horrible form :lol

Why can't he just pump fake, take two dribble and pull up? Why the eff does he feel he needs to go all the way to the rim when he gets rushed off the 3 or line? It a disaster waiting to happen.

Hell, even Bonner has developed a little floater, too little too late, but Danny is still young. Work on your damn game. Anyone can learn handles, you just have to bust your ass to do it.

meh, its all relative. spurs needed green to play like trash so that others could do what they do. but you heard it here first, green is a free loader with no wrk ethic because he's a product of the clubbin generation

80 games into the season and we still have Danny Green the 'Cleveland Steamer' Please come back the Danny Green who played games 1-5 of the 2014 Finals, please! He shot around 44% from 3 in the last 4 seasons! This year just 33% wtf, 2016 Danny Green sucks.

The big 3 + 1 haven't done a lot, and that's a good sign that the Spurs have transitioned away from them since they are still winning. It's quite the transformation tbh. Look at the boxscore from last night's game and just imagine winning that game 5 years ago.

I hadn't heard or seen the comment, but maybe it shows he's actually working with Chip on his shooting. I hope it doesn't work out like Tiger Woods retooling his game.

Look at the boxscore from last night's game and just imagine winning that game 5 years ago. Agreed, LMA and Leonard have been amazing! I hope they both end up on an All NBA Teams. Kudos to the old 3 for sticking around and not retiring to mentor and backup the new big guns and play good minutes themselves. They are all complimenting each other perfectly and the team wouldn't have the record we have today without the old 3. What a blessing to steal Kawhi and somehow land LMA in free agency. The Spurs somehow 're-built and re-loaded' for now and the future at the same time. We are a bloody lucky fan base!

I believe this is exactly it. Although much better at putting the ball on the floor, and obviously a more versatile offensive game, Kawhi does this too. Sometimes it looks like they are waiting on the close out.

His D has been a big +. I can only assume he has just made that his priority and still practices his shots diligently. We sure as hell need him hounding Curry if we are going to go far. Maybe we need Tony to tell everybody he's not shooting his 3 worth a damn, so why is everybody covering him all the time.
