I don't think its a given they win the east.

Detroit is just the perfect team matchup wise and Toronto is significantly better than last year.

If they have to go through both of them...

I'd be shocked I'd either series went 6 games

Detroit is exactly the team that's structured to beat cleveland. Id be surprised if that doesnt go to 6 if they play. Toronto might fold, but theyre a decent team with a great offensive structure and a couple of star players.

Hope they lose, so we see someone new in the finals. It wont matter since its gonna be gsw or spurs so why not have some new faces.

I don't see it. LeBron turns into another beast come playoffs

They got to finals last year with injuries

I buy to the challenge more this year than last year's almighty Hawks :lol

Meh, I struggle to see them even getting taken to 7, much less losing to any of those teams. I think LeBron will turn it up come playoff time. They might get taken to 6 games once or twice, but assuming no one gets injured, we'll be seeing them in the Finals again.

If the cavs get pushed 5-6 games in rd1+2?

then all i can say is leb is the most overrated pos, has he ever sweep any team when his t eam is favorite to win series and easts/championship?

Lebron has been a beast this year. Kyrie Irving not playing defense or his inability to play off the ball are bigger reasons why the CAVS will not ring.

None of the teams mentioned have enough playoff experience to make the necessary adjustments in game 2. There might be an upset here and there, but usually it's a 1st game jitters caused a blowout and after that "hey we made the playoffs" sets in and vacation plans are made, ala AK47.

This is coming from the guy who predicted last year that the Hawks would win it all before the Cavs proceeded to push their shit in.

As per usual, Lebron will cakewalk to the finals and get destroyed

My niece became a NNP a year or so ago. She makes bank and she's still in her lower 20's.

See it to believe it. As of right now, I don't believe it. The rest of the East have proven nothing against him for the past 6 years. The rest of the east have to prove their quality.

To add to this. The Cavaliers definitely DO NOT want to face the Pistons in the first round. Stan Van Gundy is LeBron's kryptonite when he has a young team and motivated players. Most of all, Stan needs a big down low to funnel LeBron to. The last time they played the Pistons, He was shut down (5-18, 27% FG, 12pts). This is all after the trade. Stan got the players he needed to get this done.

Most of all, you all know that LeBron's percentages have been shit this year. Especially from the three (29%). I can see them being potentially swept because Stan Van Gundy does not allow bullshit to pass through him. Stan is the man who crushed the KOBE/LEBRON finals. LeBron is the ancestor of bullshit and NBA protection.

If Cleveland gets past Detroit, they'll have to face Boston or Miami. Other tough teams who can grind them out. Miami has dominated the season series against Cleveland.

Boston on the other hand scratched and clawed two victories against them. Boston is more motivated than ever after that Golden State win and an elite coach...yes I said..elite coach in Brad Stevens. The crazy thing is, he's young as hell; 39 years young.

Pacers, Toronto, Atlanta are all confirmed mental midgets. Toronto has Derozan, who is essentially a shorter rudy gay and taller monte ellis, holding them back. Players who score empty points.

Charlotte has MKG back early. They're making the playoffs but I haven't watched them at all this season. MKG was crucial in them making the post season. I want to see how they'll perform.

The Eastern Conference playoffs will be interesting this year. No bulls, Wizards, Bucks.

Yea because they were going to beat the cavs healthy, let alone the Warriors...right. If you believe that then I'm a Nigerian prince who needs some of your money

Lol if you think a team that won 60 games and won the season series 3-1 against Cleveland would lose like that fully healthy. They lost thabo, korver and Carroll, all significant pieces.

I agree. Warriors and Spurs would 4-4-4 the eastern conference playoffs tbh. 4-4-5 at worst.

Cavs will probably 4-5-5 or 4-5-6 at worst.

if Boston had a crunch time scorer, i think they could pull upset..The only way Clevelend doesn't make the Finals is if Lebron somehow checks out in middle of series at the first sign of adversity..he clearly doesn't have good chemistry with his teammates and has behaved weird since that Warriors thumping...
