Post LA 30 times a game, Kawhi another 30, Boris 15 or 20. Heck, post Anderson and West too a few times. That's our chance against these guys. It slows the game down and it woud give the Warriors quick hands less oportunities to provoke turnovers. The whole overpassing shit just isn't going to cut it.

Another benefit from this would be establishing Kawhi and LA (they look like role players out there, barely touching the ball) and make the rest play through them, therefor making the game easier for our scrubs.

Not going to work. Warriors are too good at swarming and then recovering, and since the Spurs have no consistent 3 point shooting outside of Leonard, it'll be hard to keep their defense honest.

The Wolves and Celtics punished the Warriors on dribble-drive penetration (same with the Thunder before they choked), which is why I've been an advocate all season for Kawhi to add that to his game (which he has), and for Parker to establish it. That's the Warriors Achilles heel, since they have no shotblocking and Wardell, Klay, and Barnes aren't great at staying in front of penetrators.

Unfortunately, Parker is too old/inconsistent and Manu is also too old. If they were still in their primes on this team, it'd be GG Warriors.

Aldridges "big game" against us was 26 points on 25 shots at home LMAO

Hes terrified of Dray and Bogut and he cant move either of them down low

We can live with Leonard in the post since hes limited as a passer

Lebron and a bunch of d-leaguers took two games off them by posting up on every fucking possesion. Same with the Grizzlies. On this game, everytime we fed the ball down low good thinga happened. Is when we pull the useless pass, pass, pass on the perimeter that we fuck up against these guys.

Have you not seen LMA against GS this year? Even in the game in SA he needed 25 shots just to get to 26 points. He isn't that great in the post and shies away from contact. Green jumps in the air and LMA fades away from him instead of drawing the foul.

I've seen LA own his ass a couple of times while he was on Portland. The efficiency it's not that important either. The whole point of the post ups is to slow the game down and make the game easier for our role players. I'm sure that if you give him a heavy dosis of touches in the post, LA will come through.

I hope you're right man, but a lot of the times the Spurs posted up tonight GS swarmed them like crazy and either blocked whichever Spur at the rim or forced them to turn it over. I agree with the post up logic but if the Spurs are going to miss outside shots (though they did hit them at a better clip in the fourth) the Warriors will have zero problem packing the paint.

3s > 2s

Post ups won't win a series against them. Kawhi, Green, Patty and Manu all have to catch fire from three to keep up with GS offensively.

The threes will have a better chance of going in if shooting while open and with the passes coming from inside out, unlike this game where we tried to rush them off the pick 3 feet behind the line and with a guy glued.

See above. But you made me remind something: Parker needs to cut it with those shitty ass long twos. When not handling the ball, get your ass on three point territory and, if open: shoot a motherfucking three, not an ugly ass 21 footer.

lmao Aldridges shooting numbers speak for themselves against us

our answer for Kawhi is to have him guard anybody on our team, theyre just going to torch him lmao we all know how he does against players named Barnes in the playoffs

He desperately needs to hook up with Kobe this summer like Pop keeps begging for

He needs leadership and mentoring, cant look up to Duncan when he lets a gym trainer take his woman lmao

Barnes got his lunch eaten by Diaw but had a vacation shooting practice 3s tonight b/c D-West has brick feet.:lol

Pop didn't even care to put Danny on Curry or Kawhi on Draymond, he was out there testing if D-West was playable...the answer is HELL NO!

I wouldn't trust Kobe to teach KL. Kobe's egotistical enough not to want to pass on the knowledge. Send KL to Hakeem - who's said that Kobe was his best student.

Another benefit from this would be establishing Kawhi and LA (they look like role players out there, barely touching the ball) and make the rest play through them, therefor making the game easier for our scrubs.

The problem with a two man offense is when Golden State effectively takes one out (Kawhi Leonard) with a double team in the post season, the entire offensive load will be dumped onto the other offensive player (LMA). And while these two juggernaut offensive players are posting the world up, the rest of the team is standing around sucking their thumbs. This two trick pony attack might work in San Antonio but it sure as hell isn't going to work on the road in a hostile environment like GS and against the best offensive team in the league. The rest of the offense has been a flat out joke. Don't start quoting FG% when the game was essentially over at the half (Spurs never cut it to single digits). To think this was one of the worst defenses in the league since the break and the Spurs struggled to score until garbage time. And people wonder why GS should fear the Spurs. :lol

The whole post up thing was a ploy. It was almost exclusively LMA everytime in the first half. It was so obvious. The Spurs aren't doing that continually in the WCF or any playoff series for that matter. Kawhi was just going through the motions.

It wouldn't be a two man show. Diaw would be vital too. And this post up based game would actually make the game easier for our scrubs, that don't seem to get anything going against this team on their own.
