It wasn't that they couldn't guard the Warriors...they just didn't. The Spurs bigs were terrible last night. Seemed like they kept stepping out to help or completly forgetting about the man they were just standing by. Too many easy layups and dunks for GS.

This combined with the poor shooting, the Spurs did well to keep the 2nd half sort of even. Down by 12 at half. And for most of the 2nd half, they were within 15 or so.

Spurs have been giving away layups to not only GSW.

What you saw was the 'beautiful game' that the Spurs used to play turned against them. We looked a lot like the Heat trying to chase the ball or double team a shooter when the ball would be gone on a wide open 3pt. shot or a beautiful pass to another wide open player.

The number one defensive team got exposed last night.

From the 2 quarter till midway through the 4th the Warriors shot 70% from the field. The fact the Spurs only lost by 11 is a miracle. I can live with the Barnes shots and the Curry prayers but the constant sequences where a gaurd would let his man drive into the paint only to have the big rotate freeing his man for layups was the horrible part.

We need the defensive focus we had in San Antonio.

If this is how it felt for the Heat fans to watch the Spurs execute the beautiful game, then I feel bad for them

While Parker and Green were occupied with Curry/Thompson, Ingles' hoe couldn't hold Harrison Barnes to under 20 SMFH
