Frankly, scrimmage meaningless game. Pop could have stayed with Miller who had the better game and Simmons but he wanted to get Patty experience directing the offense in crunch time. It didn't go well. I hope he bounces back from this one. If there ever was a game to scrub it up this was fine.

good god, spurs execution to end the game after being up by 4 :vomit:
:lol
That was absolute shit clock management. The Spurs inbounded with about 40 seconds - perfect 2-for-1 opportunity. Instead of letting the ball bounce all the way to mid-court, Patty picked it up and dribbled it across. That ate up 4-5 seconds that could have been the difference in getting a good last look. Of course it didn't matter, since he coughed up the ball anyway. But part of the reason he coughed it up was because he was trying to go early - which he wouldn't have had to do if he hadn't wasted that time.
On the last possession, West let the ball bounce all the way to mid-court before picking it up. HE knew what to do in that situation. Patty is supposed to be leading the offense when he's out there. By now he should understand 2-for-1 situations and clock management better than that. Bad execution is one thing, but stupid play is worse.

Yeah looks like the 4/5 matchup is now set with the Clippers vs Blazers. We are getting either Memphis or Dallas now with Utah's loss is a long shot now. Mavs have been playing better basketball lately, but think Thunder or Spurs still sweep them and Memphis. GS is going to get either Utah or Houston, which they will win either series but not the most desirable.

Really praying the Blazers keep the 6th seed. Memphis has zero chance against OKC but the jailblazers should make it somewhat interesting. I also want a rested LA against GSW. Its highly unlikely but every spursfan at this point should hope for Griffin to get back his early season form.

I agree think Griffin can get his rhythm back against the Mavs or Grizzlies and would be a quick 5 game series against either teams. Trailblazers have a Minny and Denver the last two games, maybe they think they can upset the Thunder as they beat them twice this season, and matchup better & stay away from the Warriors if they would end up upsetting LA.

I'm not sure, but CJ and dame would be a nightmare for that okc defense that is awful defending the penetration. They also have Aminu to cover durant. Dude is one of the top 5 SF defenders in the league. ED davis can also ball.
The perfect scenario for the spurs is to for Memphis to stay at 5th to give LA the needed reps for Griffin and still win easy against memphis. Blazers at 6th for a possible upset against OKC. Jazz at 7. And Dallas at 8.
I was debating between Jazz and Dallas, went with Jazz because I dont want to give gsw practice against a slow paced team that relies on an SF and A a PF to score. Its basically good practice before facing the spurs.

Clippers-Warriors it is going to be closer series than people expected as you said..Sadly, could see that going to 6-7 only for GSW to come out stronger of it and just blitz us in easy 5 game..
The more games they play, the bigger probability of injury bro...

Pop played the last two games wrong and this is the result...
You think Pop cared about the wins/losses, he literally said this was a scrimmage game for Timmay:lol

Bogut/Draymond are the ones bound to commit a dirty foul if say the Clippers are handing it to 'em (Bogut took out Favors when he was smashing Draymond & he took out LMA when he was going at Barnes)

I've seen toothless aldrich rough up pointguards. Cp3 is also a dirty player. So who knows. Cp3 is desperate man...who knows what he.might resort to.

Blazers HAVEN'T fared well against OKC, they beat them in Portland b/c Lillard caught fire against OKC's shitty 4th quarter defense. The second win was against OKC's backups & it was still a close game w/ Kanter putting up a 30/20 game. Aminu can do a decent job on KD but they have nobody to guard Westbrook.
I guess they have a better shot against OKC than the Clippers (CP3 owns Lillard) b/c OKC has a tendency to sleepwalk & play sloppy but they are still not winning more than 2 games.

OKC hasn't been able to defend opposing PGs, at all, the past few months, tbh..Westbrook will go off, but there's a pretty nice chance that Lillard can negate him IMO..
That series would go 6 IMO..everything else in the West will go 4 or 5, probably the former..

I've been putting WestBrick fake MVP campaign on blast so I'm aware of his shitty defense.:lol
Blazers have no answer for the WB/Kanter PnR so even if Lillard neutralizes him the Blazers have to contend w/ KD/Kanter.

Kanter also ate 'em up in the paint w/o WestBrick:

They need to win this season or trades will be happening. Gsw is a machine though and Clippers with their internal issues are so unreliable. I am rooting for them to have a good series bc if GSW breaks them down, they are nit getting back up IMO. That would be another weakened WC team. In the end the league is less fun with so much tanking and top heavy teams. Some parity is necessary to maintain interest.

Kyle Aderson and Danny Green are both fringe NBA players. However, SA will need them to play well to win a ring. It doesn't mean they are worth anything. It only means SA needs everyone to contribute. Those two, Green and Anderson, are the worst players on the team next to Bonner. There is really no arguing any thing else.
I've never heard someone being in a "season long" shooting slump. And the only other time people were cheering on a player for not doing anything well but being a +/- champ was here, in reference to Bonner. Kyle Anderson has now stole that show.
