No Duncan. No Diaw. Aldridge has shooting hand injury. So we had like 0.75/3 for our top 3 bigs tonight. Last game vs them was no Diaw and freshly hurt Aldridge and on the road. We've literally never fielded an entire team vs them for a full game aside from the one win we had.

That said, our perimeter scoring was pathetic tonight in all forms. Absolutely ice old and unreliable. The only guy shitting on them was our injured big.

Meh, not that important of a game, tbh. We all know we are the underdogs against this team.

Things to take from this game:

-we can definitely set our tempo. That helps.
-our scrubs need to stop shitting the bed against this team.

Losses are better learning experiences than wins. Hopefully the coaching staff takes some important notes from these two losses and the players realize they need to stop playing like scared little bitches if they want to have a puncher's chance.

Pretty much playing the Warriors twice in the last week of the season was not good for the psyches of the majority of spur fans. Too much cliff jumping after these two losses. Yes, the Spurs did NOT care to win 3 out of the 4 times they played this season. Do yourself a favor, and Youtube highlights of the offensive and defensive sets the Spurs played during the game where they beat the Warriors (pay close attention), and take a look at the offensive and defensive sets of the other 3 games they lost. It should be a testament to just how much the Spurs are hiding from the Warriors.

Because ideally, you'd like to win a championship having to beat the best teams with their best players. If Curry was out, it would be about as big an asterisk as you could have. But now, I'm OK with it.
Earlier in the season, I liked the Spurs chances. After watching GSW for the remainder and the games against the Spurs and the rest of the Spurs season...not so much.

I haven't given up on the Spurs. But they're a big underdog and are going to have to play some almost perfect basketball to beat GSW in 4 out of 7.

I thought the problem was lack of playmaking out of the post due to no Duncan or Diaw (underrated aspect of SA's power), and ice cold perimeter scoring (possibly influenced by lack of aforementioned post playmaking). LMA got his, yes, but Duncan and Diaw do a lot of stuff that isn't always reflected in the stat sheet that helps us take home wins. LMA is just okay when it comes to helping facilitate for others imo.

Offense is fucking terrible, compare our old floppy sets to this years and you will see why this year is so laughable. Pop should've just forfeited these last games. Don't show cards against Warriors Thunder Mavs

Dude micromanages the team into the ground. :lol

Might be a second round exit it seems.

:wow

I still believe somehow we get past round 2. But I get heartburn and indigestion when I think about the matchup waiting for us after :pctoss

As someone said here. It would be a title year if not for the most amazing powerful team in NBA history the Worriers

I don't. Been calling OKC in 5/6 games for near two months now; this team is arguably worse than the 2011 team.

Im not sure about this. But has anyone heard or noticed kawhi Leonard looks a bit off like he is injured or hurt. I was thinking that since the fall in game 1 st play.. I know he played well in game 1 but still didnt look right, maybe playing off adrenaline. And in GM2 he looked at bit slow, he wasnt able to blow by people.. i'll give credit to Roberson but i dont see him stopping kawhi like a top 10 defender.. Then again It could just be Kawhi had an off game.

Apart from what you think about this particular series, that is simply a laughable statement.

I don't mean in terms of talent, but in overall ceiling. This current team has two Top 10 players in the league, but the role players have been mediocre thus far. The 2011 team had lesser top talent, but the role players were better. Both teams also have a coach that keeps overcoaching/overmanaging his team. Remember, the 2011 team lost in the first round because Manu got hurt; if he doesn't get hurt, they beat that Grizz team. Problem is they would've gotten steamrolled by OKC.
