I mean, i didnt think it was this bad, but its time for the ol' cuck to hang it up and start hitting the lap pool again, because this is pathetic. The spurs have a pretty stacked roster as well which is why its so mind blowing.

FG%- 49.2
Points- 8PPG
Rebounds- 10 RPG
Blocks- 1.3
TO 1.5

for a PF/Center, this is shameful, if crater face knows what hes doing, hell start Diaw instead of Jim in the playoffs. Im starting to feel bad for Spur fan honestly, this is the beginning of the downward spiral.

2nd in the league in Drating
1st in DBPM
17 in blk %
20 in DWS
13 in BPM
and he'll be 40 in a few weeks.

Mind blown indeed.

8 and 10 is still pretty good in this era. A 20 something year old averaging those numbers would get a contract on the level of 4 years 48 mil.

Duncan is only getting paid a few mil and for that type of money his production is fine. You guys overpaid Kobe for crappy production which is a huge rip off. Even with Kobe being a great tanker you guys still get ripped off since this draft is terrible.

The fact that you have to ask means you aren't too bright.

Try:
bkref.com
espn.go.com/nba
nba.com
and various other sites that keeps NBA statistics.

BTW, he didn't get 8/10, he got 8/7.

He would get 2 years $48.5M if he was a SG hellbent on destroying the franchise.

He's good to go against OKC, Memphis, Utah, etc. but you might as well just send him home against GSW. Absolutely garbage player in that series, and it's laughable how Spurfan put him in the top 5 out of players from both teams :lmao

You looked up the FG%, points, rebounds and blocks (btw, should have been blocks per game, tough to put in 1.3 blocks total), didn't care to look at his GP, but asked about it despite the fact that the information can be easily looked up at the same place you found the FG%, PPG, RPG (you had that incorrect as well), Blocks, and you call people dumb?

Just wow!

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. If he continues to suck in the playoffs, then I will agree he's finish.

Right now, there's no reason to think he won't turn it up in the playoffs.

I guess thats fair, although stats dictate something completely different, but sure we will wait for the playoffs and see.

Duncan is still more than valuable against teams with big frontlines and penetrators, since he is still one of the best anchors in the league. Yes, he can't play against Golden State, but Kirby can't play against anybody :lol

Xevious
04-11-2016, 11:09 PM
Agreed that Duncan is basically worthless on offensive at this point. He can't get his own shot any more. He's in there for defense, which he is still pretty good at. Golden State isn't going to be his series though.

Number of players with better or equal numbers than Duncan this season = 15

That means at least half the league would like to have Tim as one of their starting big. And I was looking only at raw stats, the case for advanced stats has been made above in this thread.

So yeah, if Tim is finished, more than half of the league bigs never even got started.

As a Spurs fan I hope Timmy hangs them up after this season. He is still a serviceable player at this point and can still be a good contributor. The fall off he has had from last year to this year though is very noticeable. I just have this feeling that the fall off will be even greater next year. He just doesn't seem to have a lot left in the tank which is fine, he is 40 years old after all. On the bright side at least he wasn't the worst player on the worst team in the league to the tune of 24 million :lol

Although the Warriors are the favorites and for good reason. I am hopeful that my Spurs can pull this off and that Timmy can go out a winner like he deserves.

Side note, I am at an LA fitness in San Antonio right now and there is a fucking ass hole on a tread mill with a Kobe shirt on. Feel like that was you when you lived in SA

Absolutley , not by much , but yes. Comparing fg% between a SG and a PF/C is funny though, think of distance to the basket for starters.
