Hes been phenomenal this year. Hes actually my pick for sixth man of the year. His defendenis still below averagr but he competes against tough competition.

Hes got a player option that he will not pick up for sure.

But damn..he is tempting for 5 per and under.

I actually suggested him this offseason..

I want Kimba to replace Parker, Lin can be the backup tbh

There are a few people I would put ahead of Lin for the 6th man of the year but he will probably win it because of past hype/late season play

Billionaire's Jimmer tbh.

With all the cap space teams will have this summer, he gonna get paidddddd. Would be a great backup PG once Manu retires but not worth the money he'll get.

I'd love him as a backup.

Backup is what I had in mind.

Anything over 6 mill is too much though.

Plus imagine all the chinese votes for all-star voting. Great for business

I cant believe hes only making 2 mill. He would have been a huge difference if the spurs took him instead Ray and Butler. Missed opportunity.

I was actually looking at upcoming FAs last night, and his name kinda caught my eye too tbh... He's definitely Top5 this year in 6th Man, probably Top3, and I can't hate on anybody that has him at 1... I'd personally lean Turner, and there's a lot of guys you could argue for, but there's no real standout.

With the way our starting PG is playing now...Lin would be our starting PG. And it ain't even close

The Hornets are my home team so I have seen a lot of his games this year. He's been a great spark plug off the bench. He's played well with the Hornets mainly because outside of Kemba there is no ball dominate player which has given him freedom to operate on the offensive end. Even when Kemba is in the game he gets to handle the ball and Kemba plays as an under size 2 for stretches during the game. He has great creativity that would work well in the Spurs system.

Pop wouldn't consider Lin just because of the hair and Linsanity

I don't think he's popular with any Asian market outside of Taiwan.

I know him personally, and it's hard to find another player with better character and humbleness than him. He truly puts in a lot of work into his game, and it would be amazing to root for him more than I already do. He's not a bad DOTA player either :lol

Hes exactly the kind of guy the spurs need right now. Someone other than Leonard who is going to attack the basket. If he can be had at less than 6..i see no reaom why.
