Yes, I know there is one more game, but everyone is sitting. It was a really fun season and so much different than any Spurs fan is used to (in a long time). LMA, West and all the other changes made it such a unique season.
But dayum I am so glad this regular season is over. I'm ready for the playoffs. I'm hoping Spurs get rested and refreshed and that the practice time they get will iron out the kinks.
Let's go.

been a strange but rewarding RS. It never seemed like the Spurs ever kicked into even third gear, maybe a few games but for the most part, even adding in new pieces, they were able to steamroll most teams without even coming close to firing on all cylinders. Because of Warriors hype, this has been one of the most underrated seasons I can recall. Glad for the real season now though.

By mid-March, the team was low-key reeling... one by one, the wheels were starting to come off: TD knee; Parker regression; Ginobili testicular injury, Diaw ballooning into an unplayable fat thing; Mills cold AF, West lost his jumper, rookie Boban & Simmons got buried on the bench; useful veteran let go (Butler) and a washed up brought in his place (K-Mart)..Only Kawhi/LMA were consistent with their production for most part and only Green seemed to have regained his form for the playoffs..That's not gonna cut it..

This was 2011 all over again with the first round bye against the depleted Grizzlies being the exception

Lol, no it wasnt, the playoffs is all about matchups. Thunder had the bigs to match us. That doesnt mean we choked, it was a 3 seed we lost to for fucks sake. And they had ref help. If anything this was 2012 all over again. This team wouldve won the championship in 2011 easily :lol
