Damn...like he hit him in the liver.:lol

Horry made some clutch shots, but his rings were more about right place at the right time than "earning them." Injuries, poor situations, etc. played a pretty big part TMac never getting a championship.

The cuck did McGrady so dirty when they choked his ring with just a few seconds to go :lol

I have no idea why we let Horry drive the conversation on rings...he's never led anything....he has 7 rings and is still not a HOF'er....pretty telling tbh....

T-Pain responds!

You didn't think Tracy McGrady was just gonna let Robert Horry slide, did you??
The NBA legend fired back at Horry Tuesday night ... after Big Shot Bob clowned Tracy on ESPN's "The Jump" when he told T-Mac he couldn't borrow a championship ring because "you gotta earn it."
"Did he burn me?" McGrady told TMZ Sports ... "Listen man, it was a joke."
"I can understand how people take things but I'll say this ... anybody can be a champion, everybody can't be a Hall of Famer."
... and boom goes the dynamite.

I still hold T-Mac liable for the '05 and '07 first round series as well as the Orlando 3-1 lead over Detroit, even if Detroit was ultimately better. He arrogantly proclaimed the series was over and it came back to bite him. He had some bad luck, the '08 team could have been a titlist with a healthy Yao! but he failed to be a leader too often. I said in '08 if he was really a superstar, he'd lead the Rockets over the Jazz and he didn't. Better than Steve Francis I guess. :wakeup

But he was a viable role player. He obviously never was responsible for any team winning but he came up big many, many times.

Yup, that (under manned) Rockets team that took the 2-peat Lakers to a game 7 probably would have rang if fully healthy. Sad thing about sports is that if's and maybe's don't count for shit.

And it looks bad that T-Mac would ask to either hold or "borrow" a ring let alone on national television. Keep that shit for the green room, son.

Without him several banners are not hanging in several arenas, namely 05 Spurs and 02 LA Lakers......... He was huge those games, period. With the Rockets he hit a few shots too, game one Spurs in 95 in which someone posted upstairs comes to mind, hit the game winner and gave them a 1-0 lead. He was huge.
