15?
13?

15 total but only 13 for any given game?
Player can be inactive for one game but active for the next?

Thank you.

13. Wouldn't be surprised if Boban and Simmons themselves into the playoff roster, and Martin & Bonner will be in street clothes unless our shooting goes to crap.

There is no such thing as a "playoff roster" any longer.

There is a roster, comprised of up to 15 players. One hour before each game, a team must designate up to 2 players as inactive -- it could be a different set of players every night (or, in other words, a team could have as many as 15 players make appearances during a playoff series).

The use of a 15-man roster for the playoffs with several inactives happened before the. 2006-07 season:

The move to increase the active roster to 13 came before the 2012-13 season (though teams had 13 in the 2012 playoffs because of the short season):

Playoff teams must identify their postseason roster before the playoffs begin. They are allowed up to 15 players and can designate two as inactive for each game.[10] (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_playoffs#cite_note-pastuszek-10) Players are eligible to be on a team's playoff roster provided they were on the team for at least one regular season game, and were not on another NBA team's roster after March 1.[11] (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_playoffs#cite_note-11)Previously, playoff rosters were limited to 12 players who were named before the playoffs began.[10] (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_playoffs#cite_note-pastuszek-10)

BeSt news of the night. Thought pop would be forced to put Kmart on his playoff roster over Simms and die with it .
