Has a team with two "top 5" players in the NBA ever been such underachievers? They should be wrecking this Mavs team that wasn't even supposed to make the playoffs.

Replay shows player still has his entire hand around the ball, official takes half a second to realize it's not even close.

:lmao

Fucking homer announcers. GTFO.

Frankly I'm surprised they gave that to the Mavs. All three Thunder players committed blatant lane violations on Felton's second freebie. Fucking Westbrook was literally lying in the paint when Felton let it go.

I don't know how these Mavs do it tbh...Just RC putting guys in right spots and they play hard. It helps that OKC did not play well, especially KD, but damn. Winning on the road in the playoffs is no small task.

Not sure why people are downplaying his contributions. Sure, Felton played his best game since the NCAA tourney at UNC ....(LOL at those choke Ft's though)
But RC made some great adjustments ..
It also took some horrific Durant shooting ...

But if Pop had one a game like that ...

minus KL (Parsons)
minus Tony (Dwill)
Minus Patty (JJB)
and with Duncan throwing up airballs in the clutch

We would all be saying what a great job Pop did ...

They claim it was blocked by anderson I did not see it on my 60 inch 4k tv but Durant gonna blocks the line of sight ...

Even if he did he should of went up strong instead of fading. Sure, they had not been giving him the 50-50 calls on drives but if he powers up through it I think he gets that call or at the very least forces the refs to make a tough decision ...he decided to fade and missed or got blocked ...

Royce also said OKC had a scout in San Antonio too. I don't know why a spurs scout would waste time and money going to OKC when we all know what offense they run especially down the stretch of games, it's so predictable. The ball is in KD or WB's hands. Waiters, Ibaka and Kanter are invisible at the end of games. But I guess it's good to know any other details for the second round.

Do you think it was a 2? If they keep it a 2, isnt it auto suspension? Draymond will also likley be suspended a game too at some point due to his technicals and picking up a flagrant by the leauge after the game for that last play.

Didn't seem like it to me. As an accidental hit, it's arguable that it was either unnecessary or excessive. Obviously since there was head contact they needed to call it, and I think made it a 2 so they could get him out of there at that situation in the game. It's possible the league downgrades it to a 1, though.

Draymond slung a guy to the floor right in front of the officials while the other team was trying to make a critical inbounds play. League sweethearts. There's no way he gets suspended IMO.

Found this old article and thought it was interesting, particularly where Nash thinks it was just a regular playoff foul and Don Nelson wanted the league to downgrade it to a flagrant 1.

Spurs fan wishing injury on OKC players:

Anyone watching how nasty the OKC-Dallas series has gotten? Durant just got ejected for a Flagrant II. He already got fined for a cheap shot in the last game.

There was a play earlier in the game where Dallas was trying to inbound the ball, and one of the jackasses sitting on the Thunder bench had the ball and decided to play keep-away. Total chickenshit thing to do, and an "altercation" started over it. The refs did their usual, and called double technicals.

I don't usually like it when people call for a player to get hurt. But I wouldn't mind if Westbrook... or Durant... or Ibaka broke a leg like Paul George did. Not because it would make them easier to beat - I'd just like to see it happen.

Heh. As I'm typing this, there were more dirty elbows being thrown on another FT, and Ibaka scored a technical. Only seconds left, and the game was out of reach. It was just nasty play. The Spurs will beat OKC, but it's a series that could get someone hurt. OKC is trying to show everyone who the bully on the block is this postseason.

I saw this play from another angle and started to question my earlier reply. I happened to catch the replay of the game last night rather than just watching the play by itself, and that kid was playing KD hard, and had a little bit of success against him on both ends. I'm starting to think the hit was intentional. If you watch, KD wasn't swiping where the ball was, he just went right for the head.
