Ended up working out well for Spurs to trade Splitter when they did. That said, 2014 was a first-round elimination without him. Long live Golden God.

Splitter was benched against the elite teams. Was only useful against Dirk and ZBo

Doesn't really matter how good he is when he is always injured.

LMAlpha tbh
He shut him down for an entire series.
And he played good minutes vs Heat.

Sad but true.
Maybe our shooters missed his screens in the regular season, Tiago sets the best screens in the league...

Spurs used up everything he had in his body, and thank Bud for the assist this off-season, tbh..
Sad that he's still under-appreciated here, despite having one of the best playoff runs for a role player in Spurs franchise history(2014)..he played a vital role in 2013 and 2014 vs. the Warriors, Grizzlies, Mavs and Blazers, including completely destroying Nowitzki, Pinky and Z-Bo..

We'll find out in a month, although that thread had literally nothing to do with Splitter..

And he was agile rolling. Watching current TD or D west try to roll is so different...
But he's injured most of the time. It wears everyone else out. Pop gave an interview yesterday mentioning that one of the things that impressed him about LMA was the fact he carried a big burden in Portland night after night and B2B and played through injuries,a real warrior according to Pop. Comparing that to Tiago it's no contest.

Yep. It wasn't pretty to watch Baynes and Boris try to defend Blake in last playoffs, because of Tiago's injury/limited minutes

Agree. Don't get why people are still trolling "is LMA worth it"...No doubt, he is.

And LMA tbh
POR had no chance so it didn't really change anything IMO.
But now that we've seen LMA's defense, I can honestly say he's an upgrade on that side as well. He's done a better job against players that torched Splitter like Ibaka, Davis, Griffin, Terrence J:lolnes

Well obviously Lamarcus is a superior player. I don't think anyone said otherwise.
Still Splitter earned his ring IMO. Played his little heart out and helped us advance in the playoff. He did help vs Blazers because we swept them thanks to him instead of having a ling series that could have tired us.
Still good riddance he was soft
