Adam Silver has been so laid back,
Thank god that Laker lover motherfucker David Stern is gone!!!!!
A truly valuable thread, borne of a deep understanding of the history of the league and of the Spurs. Without Adam Silver, a defensively-minded team from a small media market would never have a chance to appear in the Finals, much less win even a single Championship. SpursTalk owes you a debt of gratitude.

Didn't have ads on jerseys under Stern's regime tbh.

Silver started off cool, but he's trying too hard to not be Stern, folding to every little criticism of the league. I still like him a good deal, but he guy has to learn that his job isn't to do what everyone wants.

He's not going to be able to please everyone of course.
It was cool that his first champion as commissioner was the San Antonio Spurs

I agree some but also like that he's open. I don't want the NBA to turn into MLB and always be stuck. Especially when it comes to lockouts I'm hopeful we won't experience one under his regime.

I agree that I don't want the NBA to be archaic like the MLB, but I also don't want it to be as dynamic as the NFL is. It's practically a different game every other year.

Very true. He will have to learn balance and understand there is no "perfect" game. I just hope he looks more at things like scheduling, tanking & structure vs in game changes

I heard that MLB might experiment with some changes (starting at the Little League level) to see if they can make the games more interesting. IIRC, some of the proposed changes would be limiting each inning to a certain # of batters. Or possibly starting with runners on base.

Silver's Jewishness shows like a fully-lit Menorah in a blackout. Cant's stand this guy, he is trying too hard to change the game and none of it is for the better. He is the perfect arch-type for the society and times we live in- coddle everyone and cave into pressures from outside. He's here to grab as much cash as possible and couldn't give a fuck-all about the fans.
This guy is a complete tool...he showed his true colors over this stupid north carolina thing
' waah you better change the law to allow men to use womens bathrooms or we will pull out the all star game!! Waah!!'
Is this what the nba is supposed to get involved in? Is the nba supposed to be a vehicle for helping Leftist policy/ideology?
First the stupid gun control ad, then the bathroom thing...fuck silver.

Bet you change your mind when we throw them Johnsonville Brat patches on our jerseys
Lebron misses Stern. Isn't he titleless under Silver?
